oh I miss this game!! I have been hospitalized for a while so I havent been able to hang on tfs at all!!! anyways, awsome desgins and drawings everyone

I love this theme! It is so going to my style this fall, I cant wait for the summer to end I have already done my design, but I have no time to scan it at the mo!

the rain i pouring outside and its so cozy to be here inside! So heres my entry, Ive have start to work on something for the lads as well...

I couldnt make the colour so work out in the computer, but anyways...

Ok, here we go:
- Black (wool) cap
- Dark grey parka, big pockets (where you can put your cold hands if you forgot your gloves at home ), breast pockets on both side, black buttons
- Black top, with decoractive seams
- Brown leather belt
- Militarygreen skirt with silver sequins (the black dots I cant draw at all really...) and pockets
- Complete black umbrella with silver top (to match the sequins)

Catherine

Here's my entry for Catherine in the movie.

I haven't watched the movie either, so I just looked at a lot of screenshots of it on google, and I decided to use the silhouette I saw a lot in the photos: slim torso going into a poof at the waist, kind of like the Dior silhouette.
To combine it with the Prada collection, I looked at her palette, using lots of greys and blacks. I added a dark red to add some colour (since the movie is colourful). I also used the same textiles in the Prada collection, like the shiny fabrics and fur, and I remembered to add a sort of bustier, an idea prominent in this collection.
The long-sleeve which she wears underneath the coat is just a jersey knit. The coat is the same design as the one she wears in that blue poster that pg_graffitti posted, only with more volume and with a tie. I decided to make pants for the outfit since I find I'm always drawing skirts. The pants also go with the Dior silhouette--they are tight at the waist and taper out; they are very loose, so in fact when you wear them it's as if you're wearing a skirt (that was my plan, anyway).

It might take a while to load. It's 206KB As you can see, there are dots on parts of the outfit. That was not my intention at all, so please ignore it... haha, it must be the bad quality when I saved the image.
Going to work on the menswear part for this now...

And here's Nino in the movie.

Again, the colours are from Prada.
He seems to be maybe the rebellious type in the movie, so I gave him a vest in suede to make him tough-looking (I always think of suede this way for some reason: tough-looking). The bustier idea is added as well, but this time it's more like armour. So you can see the pectoral muscles and abdomen, etc. are accentuated with the black. Even the sweater has lighter colour near the shoulders so that the biceps look bigger (AHAHAHA).
The sweater is a jersey knit, and the pants are of some shiny material, which has been dyed several times to create a simulated texture, maybe like moiré. The cap is inspired by apple caps, popular in the 60's, but I used fur because of Prada.

Nice entries everyone! I'm really busy as of late since high school is coming to a close for me! I graduate in 5 days.

perfect10: I love the colors that you have decided to work with, especially the dark grey coat. If Prada actually made that, I would wear it despite the fact that it is womenswear. The accesories perfectly compliment the outfit and you managed to combine Geneviève's girl innocence and the Prada collection.


gius: Merci beaucoup for the conceptual menswear. You did a great job with all of the colors and textures. That little splash of red would be so sexy. The silhouette actually looks like some of the outfits from the show. But again I am absolutely in love with the coat, which is so great because the sleeve is 3/4 and that tie at the waist.

Your design seemed to be a bit more fit for Prada, or what I think Prada is alla bout, which is a very sophoscted and chic style that is still quite tough and uinque.

Congrats perfect10 !!!!! pg_graffitti, sorry I couldn't put an entry in . And gius..... *Sigh*..... You never fail to amaze me!! I love how you did your design (especially how you made her coat go on and off ). And I agree, it is very Proenza Schouler-like, which I have to say, is one of my favourites .
