Ahhh! I'm not positive I'll have an entry in this week, I was working on it last night but didn't get to finish...and I've got classical singing competitions this weekend! :(

I'll try get something in!

Oh yay! I can't wait.

I am having some computer troubles, but I will try to still do reviews when I said I would. :D

Okay, with a last minute decision, I'm rethinking my idea. It's totally off. I hope to get a new one up sometime tomorrow.

can it be a formal look? i have a couple of ideas... i'll post the one i like best no later than tomorrow (i sort of promise :P)

It can be any look you like. Just as long as it compliments your model. And please remember to say what it is exactly in your design that is accentuating a part of your model.

i am soo uninspired!!!! i dont know where to start and everything i've done so far looks dull!!!
i'll wait until late midnight to see if anything fresh and new reaches me...

Okay, I'm finally done. (And it's after two o'clock in the morning over here!) And pardon the rather bad sketching; somehow the little skill I had dropped significantly over the past weeks.

I chose Audrey Marnay for my model.

I chose her because she has an incredibly unique face, and exceptionally unusual cheekbones. Without all the makeup, she even looks kind of androgynous. She also has a very 'sexy-librarian' feel about her that I wanted to play up, shown especially in the second picture above.

Since I think her cheekbones are so striking, I chose to play up that by adding a collar with molded panels to fit the contours of her face. They would not only add a visual impact and draw attention, but also play up the feature and make it more prominent.

I chose to dress her in a elongated blazer with minimal detail. It lays on the shoulder naturally without any padding. Two pockets are mounted vertically for practicality. The entire torso has an illusion of added length. Underneath the jacket is a solid strapless top, creating a dropped-waist effect. The skirt has a muted pink and orange graphic print atop pleated tulle. This, too, is of a longer length to lengthen the legs. Finally, her shoes tie the outfit together by using the same color of teal as that of the top.

go ahead and announce the winner dbear... i wont be posting one this time :(

*Cricket, cricket*

Did dbear die or something? She hasn't posted for a couple of days...

I'm sorry you guys. My computer is still broken! I will did quick reviews in a couple minutes.

Ok My reviews.

JR1- I love your entry so much. I love the whole layout of it, and I especially love the detail on the tank top. The colors together are brilliant also. And I love how you added that she actually said backstage that she likes to wear high heels.

Khoipond89- I really like your design. The rich colors are so beautiful, and I like how you matched the blue purse with the gorgeous purple. The gladiator wedges were daring, but they work out great. The only thing that doesn't work for me is 1) the whole layout is a little distracting from the design, despite how beautiful it looks. 2) You didn't state how your design accentuates Kate. So I didn't know exactly what you were trying to get out. All in all it is a beautiful design.

ilaughead- I absolutely love the fact that you chose to show off Audrey's cheek bones. It was definitely unexpected and unique. The colors you chose are also very beautiful. You did an amazing job describing the design and what accentuates your model.

It was an extremely hard choice. You all did amazing. But I have to chose.

The winner is JR1!

Your design was something I could actually see Tanya wearing good job to you all.

youre all welcome. i'm glad you had fun. ican't wait for the new challenge.

Congratz JR1!

Can't wait for the new challenge...hope I'll have time for this one!
