Must admit I've fallen in love with my Topshop thigh highs, keep having to resist wearing them on nights out because I have dozens of other shoes that need wearing. Have also started changing my wardrobe around thigh highs, getting lots of colourful dresses to pair with black tights and OTK boots.

Also found my dream pair of designer boots, Monique by Louboutin. Bought a pair via a friend in the US and am having them shipping back here, whoopie!

I got my Moniques today too, they are beyond stunning, almost kissed the UPS man and then had to try them on in the gym changing rooms at work. They are absolutely beautiful, the nicest boots I own by absolute miles.

Yes, absolutely TDF. And I nearly did die with excitement when I opened them today. I had such high expectations and still they made me go weak at the knees. They're an absolute perfect fit, perfect height, perfect shape, perfect style... you're so right, they're the boots

Are your Moniques suede or deerskin smooth leather? Are they black or a different color? Do you happen to have any basic pictures?

Yes and no. I have the black deerskin (Moniques by Louboutin) and am trying to decide if I want the black suede instead. Oh decisions. And I can only keep one pair... I have a pair of the black on hold for me and I have to decide today...

I haven't seen them in black deerskin, but taking the chestnut ones as an example I prefer the suede ones, just because the thigh high effect seems to be lost at the foot, at least in the pictures I've seen - not sure what yours is like. What's the ruching like in deerskin? It's TDF in the suede boot - sorry I'm not much use haha, I have never had any shoes or boots in deerskin before.

i have been looking for a simple pair of black boots since 2003!!! not only over-the-knee, whatever height i find, but i hate every one of them, either they're awful or quality is the worse, etc. now victoria's secret is having a bit fat sale and they have a colin stuart pair of convertible boots (which is very convenient) but i'm afraid last time i bought a pair of boots they turned to be the most uncomfortable things i've ever worn (this, coming from a person who can run in platforms). by any chance, have any of you tried them on?? or bought them?
