SPOT THE WHITE BANDANAS~!!!

What is the #tiedtogether movement?

While executives from other prominent industries around the world raised their voices in response to current world developments, the fashion industry has remained silent. In light of the current uncertainties and turmoil around the world, The Business of Fashion invites the fashion industry to stand together and make a clear statement of solidarity, unity and inclusiveness. This is not a political statement, it is a positive statement in support of humanity during a time of turmoil and fear in many nations around the world. We aim to start a global movement within the fashion industry to demonstrate the power of unity and inclusivity, and encourage fashion enthusiasts and people outside the industry to join.
How can you get involved?

The Business of Fashion invites all of its readers, partners and supporters to unite by making a singular visual statement: wear a white bandana as a sign to the world that we believe in unity and inclusivity for all humankind.

DESIGNERS

Incorporate white bandanas in your fashion shows and wear a white bandana in your final bow, so that the movement spreads through fashion week coverage.

The initiative kicks off today at Tommy Hilfiger's show in L.A., where those bandanas will be sported by models on the runway as well as by showgoers. Other designers that have committed to being part of #TiedTogether include Diane von Furstenberg, Prabal Gurung, Phillip Lim, and Thakoon Panichgul.
