This looks awfully dated. Why wasn't there a show and why cast this awful model?

I really enjoy the graphic jewelry here, it adds a welcome unexpected touch to his otherwise very 'boutique friendly' offering. It's maybe a good thing that at least one designer out there thinks about who is really the person able to spend the big $$$ on his clothes and that this woman probably likes to be a bit more covered up, but I find some of it to look a bit too heavy, too covered up for spring/summer.

My personal favourite look is the bustier with cropped, boy-ish trouser and open toe booties - You don't see a trouser like that very often at Tom Ford, but it works.

I'm getting a slight Loewe vibe here, and the bag with the gold circle is totally copying that Loewe bag!

I don't hate it. It's good...To not say decent.
It's really a continuation of last season...

I really like the daywear, the pieces are great. The jackets, the skirts, the tops and the pants are really great. BUT, the styling is really bad.
The layering thing with the pants under a midi skirt is really unfortunate. TOO MUCH ACCESSORIES! It really kills what could have been great.
It's very Art-Deco and i don't think i like it.

So many great pieces ruined by an awful styling... But i still love Tom!

Logistic...
FW is finished and the editors are not "in town". With the "See Now Buy Now" thing, he has to show before FW for fall Winter and after FW for Spring Summer.
Unless he decide to go back to London or to show in Paris, i don't think that he will show more than 1 time/year.
For the model, ask Carine. I don't know why she is so obsessed with her:lol:

This looks so old and stale to me. Ford is not keeping up.

None of this looks desirable. The model choice was terrible, the styling is heavy, it looks like a rich elder woman desperately trying to seems sexy

love that mildly Calder-esque jewelry even though one earring only never fails to enter fashion victim territory. The clothes are not so bad either.. I still don't care for his clothes but I am still on a post-Nocturnal Animals trance so I wouldn't mind wearing that as I regret big decisions in life.

I had the chance to see this model training (ballet) one random morning last year... I thought her movements were so beautiful that I can't 'unsee' that and go back to 'model' anymore, to me she's primarily and 100% a dancer and is here giving us the standard, Osipova-ish awkward and even tacky, dancer off-duty presence (she was probably hired as a model, but I don't care!). Works for me!.

This feels totally fine, but the first two looks are just too close to one of Burton's collections for the house of McQueen, I think it was resort 2013. And you know, he doesn't have to try, everything will sell just because it's Tom Ford.

Echoing most of the sentiments here so far - pretty decent looking collection that's bogged down by poor model, hair/make-up, accessory (jewelry is good, though) and styling choices. In fact, I think all of those choices turn what could be a pretty fresh and attractive looking collection into something that looks a bit dated.

Some of the pieces look very gorgeous (that black/white graphic print is really good) and it's a shame they weren't presented in a more elevated way. Tom obviously knows his customer and what she likes and knows the life she lives...and it's totally fine that he's catering more directly for her - but from a fashion/editorial perspective, he could have pushed it a bit further and into a more modern territory.

Lida Fox and 'awful model' do not belong together. As for the rest…

I don't know why he keeps thinking that awkward cutouts and asymmetries add anything to his aesthetic. If he's so focused on selling, he should just deliver what his customer really wants: super sexy, well fitting with a contemporary twist.

I think he knows his customers but i don't think he knows the life they lives.
Judging by this collection only and maybe his previous collection, the Tom Ford woman seems to be very detached from reality compared to the Tom Ford man. The Tom Ford man is this affluent, independent and strong individual who wants to stand-out but it's hard to see this woman as an active woman.
I love and i wear Tom Ford but i don't recognize myself here and the styling is not relevant enough for an "active" lifestyle.

This for me looks like a younger version of Ralph Rucci and the Ralph Rucci woman for me is not working. She is a philanthropist, a socialite, she goes to diner and everything...She is maybe the wife of the business but she is not the business.

There are some very covetable and ambitious pieces here like the complex zipped top, the blouson in the 4th look but the overall result is sad and lacks energy.
FW12 and SS15 are still my 2 favorite collections from him because it was full Tom Ford. He didn't hold back or tried to be relevant. It was fun, sexy, slightly vulgar but at the same time very approachable.

I really don't think that working with Carine works for Tom anymore. Good clothes last forever and i know that if i buy the pants from this collection, i'll wear them forever but for me, it's impossible for him to get back this energy with Carine.

Carine is at a point of her career where she has to capture the energy of the youth in order to be relevant in a way. I don't think she has to do it but for some reason, she is doing it. Tom needs a fresher eye...Not necessarly someone younger but someone who can give another energy to his clothes.

I would love for him to work with maybe MAS, Benjamin Bruno even Geraldine Saglio or Olivier Rizzo.

I still believe that his voice is necessary in the fashion conversation as no one can do sexy like him...No one really.

I think this is absolutely true. I feel as though them working together has passed the expiration date - in the sense that they don't seem to challenge each other in a positive way anymore. And maybe that's not what either is looking for - which if that's the case, then that's too bad.

But, a fresh eye is indeed needed and I think could be wildly successful to give Tom's ultimately attractive, flattering and extremely well made clothing the boost it needs in terms of packing a more creative punch.

The styling here is far too Madame. I certainly don't want to see Tom pandering to the KIDZ (as Phuel so lovingly refers to them  ), but it would be rather intriguing to see someone come in and strip back a bit of the lacquered and shellacked feeling we've been getting from Tom for too long now at his own line. I would like to see his woman de-accessorized, with her hair a bit more of a bed head feeling, and seriously no more tricky shoes!! They suffocate each and every one of the looks!

It's like - in "Nocturnal Animals," I was so bowled over by Amy Adam's surprisingly pure and radiant natural beauty that Tom so ingeniously captured in the flashbacks scenes of her character's younger self...her hair undone, no makeup, a simple black turtleneck...it was fabulous! Would love to see a bit more of that attitude in the presentation of his collections.
