hmmmm...hard because diff dsgnrs do diff things well. ie- love hermes leather goods and home accessories-Dolce makes a great narrow men's suit, but Yohji makes great boxy men's. so, I can't decide whether to just list personal faves or all my faves and for what...the second seems more interesting, but also more work. I'll just do personal faves and maybe come back with the rest...

Dries-men /women

Jil Sander-*faust, she DID retire...I'm so glad she came back this s/s. the women's collection is dreamy

YOHJI-men/women

CDG-men/women

junya watanabe-men/women

Veronique Branquinho-very excited she's doing men's now

Marni-f/w 03 was exceptional

prada/miu miu-though i've been anti-prada forever, f/w 03 was flawless and spring
is even better

Thimister-what happened to him>

Yumi Eto-chk out her website-yumieto.com :flower:

Hussein Chalayan

ann Demeulemeester

Gary Graham-I'm watching him-he has potential

Eley Kishimoto-inconsistent, but often beautiful-esp prints

TSE-cashmere

Margiela

not dsgnr but can't live w/o-
j. crew-great basics/cashmere/accessories
levis-only jns I'll wear
zara-good accessories-cheap shoes
joseph-sweaters/coats
julia-perfect audrey hepburn dreses and blouses
Vanessa Bruno-current obsession-not really dsgnr, more like contemporary
Claudie Pierlot-same as above
Agnes B.-men/women
a.p.c.
laren merkin-cool vintage print cotton blouses/tops

love but don't wear-
Gaultier
westwood
missoni
pucci-though I did just get a bra!
some chanel-why can't i find a bag i like?!?!?
some fendi-hit or miss
some chloe-more and more
mcqueen-too narrow and restrictive-like a straightjacket
Hermes-too expensive!!!! i would feel guilty-

dsgners i miss- :(
YSL :flower:
Claude Montana***
Mugler
Rifat Ozbek

Jil Sander, grrrrrrrr, all right I'll take a look at the women's collection again, but only because you say so. Yea, Prada REALLY messed that one up. Jil Sander used to fit impeccably before Prada got her hands on it. I tried a sweater on last season, and it fit like something from Old Navy would...

I was also so happy and impatient for VB menswear, but... do you know any guy who actually fit in it??? I know I certainly tried... + her s/s 04 prices are out there (I know, whose aren't) - I already checked her new stuff out in IF and Jeffrey's.
