ive decided on the cage skirt, and i dont like it lol.
i quite like the union jack stuff, a girl had the union jack blazer on a few days ago when i was in town and it looks so good on her!

bleh the union jack stuff is so 90s. I'm thinking Geri from the Spice Girls. Idk it's so tacky and suddenly it comes back again but next year everyone will be thinking "why did we like that?"

I have to agree with you. Also, those items will look dated shortly so I wouldn't spend my money on it personally.

ohjane i think i remember seeing those clutches in the oxford circus store a week ago or so.

with spring on its way (hopefully it will be here before fall lol) i would go for the more colourful ones like the purple...but black and tan are more timeless i guess. but then its always good to have a bit of fun!

Velony - yeah, I keep doing this with topshop- buying something that is very in there but then outside of topshop it is awful! Like the union jack stuff hasn't be on the runway at all this season, Topshop has just suddenly brought it in. If I went around with union jacks everywhere then everyone would laugh.
Plus, I think wearing union jacks is overly patriotic, I think they thought Union Jack stuff would sell in the US personally and that's why they brought it out at this time as well.

Their new 'Day of the dead' collection is such a letdown..when I got the email promo with the pansies on I was really intriqued..such a beautiful promo
.. but the items, the everpresent embelllishing with skulls are just so 'done' (goes with the theme obviously)

I received my order the other day and they left it in my back garden! Luckily it wasn't raining and my housemate found it.

That's terrible. But since they never got the required signature for signed for, you can actually claim you never got it and they'll refund you.

My friend did that with an order from Warehouse. It was actually delivered but to the back of her house, by her garage.

Not realising, she reported it undelivered and found it a few days later soaked through when she went to go get some food from her outside freezer. Most of it wasn't packed in plastic and eventhough it was in a card box, she said all the clothing had to be laundered and ironed and the white chiffon blouse she got never washed clean. So she didn't bother teling them otherwise and within a week she'd had a refund for nearly £200. Pretty good going, even if the blouse was spoiled

Why oh why..do people spend so much more on it than what the person that first bought it for?

Topshop is great yeah, but why spend more than something is worth and for something that is used...don't think these folk can class something as vintage if it be bought 6 months ago....

I'm pale too but for some reason i think the pansy dress could look gorgeous on someone pale - we'd make the colour "pop" more! However, i'm blonde - i think a brunette would rock it better!
