i've worked in a greater london store, plus one up north while at uni. i think there will be some summer jobs, due to students going back home after uni finishes. i know one girl who got a job there at 16 with no experience, just make sure your CV is really good (you wouldn't beleive the amount of spelling mistakes i've seen, one girl failed to capitalise her own name). Mention your brand knowledge (I know you have a lot) and love of current trends, willingness to learn etc. maybe ring round a few stores first, then drop your CV in on a quiet day, perhaps trying to have a word with a manager or Top Level.

it's easy as pie to get a job there at sixteen, trust me. The kids at Oxford Street come to a a lot of my clubs every single week and there are a few that always get turned away because of their age. They want people who care, and that are polite and hard working, the amount of knowledge you have will make you a perfect candidate. I mean, most of the kids I know there downright hate topshop and are managers there!

today is a good update, i love these jackets. i think they put the price of the striped poplin dress up though

What US stores is Topshop's quality similar to? Toward the beginning of this thread people compared it to Forever 21, but that chain's quality is HORRENDOUS, in my opinion... I'm asking because there are several dresses on the Topshop web site I want to order, but I don't want to pay $80 for them if they're shotty, especially since returns have to be mailed to the UK (which I'm assuming is relatively pricey)

I've never had a problem with the quality. It depends on the items though, the more expensive ones should be better quality. Nothing I've bought from Topshop has broken and when I go into Topshop I don't see loads of ripped up items like I do in many stores! I'd go for it. And i'd definitely not compare it to F21 as I've had a few items from there and they've def been worse quality than TS.

The quaility of their leather goods (i.e. shoes and bags) is pretty terrible but the quality of the clothes are fine, nothing special of course but durable.

I don't think the quality of the leather goods is bad either. I have a pair of boots that I've worn so much lately (in bad weather too) and they still look fine. One leather jacket that I own is made of the softest leather and looks great too so I can't complain.

today i got a skirt, wet look trousers (both in a size 6 which i can never usually find! :D) and 2 pairs of tights for £24!!!!

ahhhh did it?! ^^ it does look like a piece that'd sell out quickly! we've still got some in our store, bet theyll all be gone though by the time im paid *sob*

I received my cage skirt in the mail today. It fits like I expected it to. I wore my AA interlock pencil skirt under it. I'd prefer a different color though for the contrast. However, thought I'd post pics in case you are interested.

Oooh I really like it! And your shoes. Gorgeous! Ugh I found out today that my mum threw away the cage skirt that I made :@

^Oh no, why did she throw it away? I'd have loved to see it. Are you going to make a new one?

Haha she isn't into cage skirts. I made it about a year ago [yeah I was ahead of the game ;)] and she didn't like it so threw it away when tidying away!

I'm still annoyed about the rest of the Unique stuff not coming out. I LOVE that tie dye blazer but it never came out :/
Also, I really want that suede zip skirt esp as it's so cheap now but I feel so guilty wearing suede when it's not shoes. It's just the sheer amount of it!
