But how would I go about phoning the manager at the flagship? They have an automated thing when you phone and I think the manager is too busy to speak about that sort of thing haha

Yeah I wouldnt be surprised if it never even got read, scatterbrain assistants tend to just shove stuff under the desk and ignore it. If you can put your cv/covering letter in a sealed envelope and write "to the manager" on the front it's more likely to reach them. I'm not sure how you'd go about calling, I didn't know it was automated... you'll probably have more luck going in store and asking if the managers available directly. That way they take you more seriously than a voice over the phone.

Are you talking about Oxford Circus? Maybe it's easier to go for smaller London stores, like Strand or High St Kensington. I also think you may have to be over 18 to work at Oxford Circus, due to some late nights etc. There's a list of current vacancies on the site, maybe its worth applying online?

kbella- I'll apply to those too. Nope, there are a few 16 year olds working there atm. But the online applications are all managerial jobs aren't they? I've looked there before and it's not shop assistants, but higher positions like Style Advisor etc.

Theres a few that say Sales Advisor, some for Topshop and Topman (it's expanding) Oxford Circus, which is what you want.

Yeah i was once a 'sales advisor'.. it was similar to a sales assistant so try it!

Sales advisor is just their fancy way of saying sales assistant. It's just working on tills, on the fitting rooms and tidying areas really.

I had the Chloé boots, but got an offer of $3000, so I sold them, I miss them everyday, I hope these can be a substitute.

They're nice although I think I still prefer the chloe-esq ones. If the Chloe-esq ones go down in the sale I will buy them

I don't like their wannabe Chloé version at all. They are stated as black, if they look brown at your screen I cannot tell They do look black at mine.

I like both the Aztec boots (which I have and don't think look too much like the Chloés) and the studded boots you bought, Ditte.

It's true that they don't look too much like Chloé's. It's just because they're studded but Topshop obviously designed them to look similar.
