I know! I remember the window was really cool, it had a mannequin covered in cuddly toys

Well we, as the customers have a right to bloody complain! Who do we complain to, and who's with me on this? I don't want to line the pockets of a company so willing to be hypocritical!

And I cannot STAND the moss collections. Give me a label, I'd at least have the dignity to turn up and create it. OR, better still, give a label to someone who has worked their **** off at college and can do something fantastic.

That feather thing is cool. I remember Diesel having something like that a while ago that I wanted.

i know it's just the same old rubbish coming out every season..

does anyone know if the larissa shoes are still in stores? (the heels with the three velcro straps and platform)
they only have patent black on the site, i want the one with the pink bit around the edge!
They're everywhere here, my friend got them last week for £30 in the sale. :)

How huggggggge is the Oxford St Topshop. I knew it was big but my god I was in there for about 2 hours or something just looking around. All I ended up buying was some tights and I ended up ripping them last night anyways. :(

^ yeah it's hugeeee. It's my nearest Topshop as well so it's quite annoying I'm claustrophobic everytime I want to buy something from Topshop! Still, it stocks everything so it's good. But the thing is that I usually pick up a few things then can't handle it anymore so I just dump them all and get out of the store as quickly as possible :P you have to be there early in the morning.

Mindbear- i'd love to complain. I'm really anti-fur and I think it's totally hypocritical especially as they made a big thing of it to begin with. How would you complain though? Haha I remember a few years ago in my Geography class we were given an assignment to write to a company about their ethical policy [eg. slave labour] and being the cheeky 13 year old I was, I asked for Topshop vouchers in the ps. and they gave me £30 free topshop vouchers with their letter! lol

^ Lol I went in there for a pair of tights, ended up buying some brogues in Miss Selfridge. I didn't even want to brave the lower floors, I was getting so stressed. I'd definitely recommend paying in Miss Selfridge, as they hardly had a queue!

I really don't like the new Kate stuff, I like maybe one dress (literally, no more) it's all very basic and too simple or something...

I'm not sure if Sheepskin is classed as a fur if I'm being totally honest. No doubt it's produced as a bi-product of the animal being killed for the meat, and is used as leather would be. I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty certain it's not a "fur".

Yeh, I don't think it is a fur. Also, I am not totally certain but I think they might have used sheepskin before. Anyway, like honeycombchild said, its the same as leather really. I guess if you really object to it, the only real course of action is to organise a boycot of some kind. Anhow, that is indeed one ugly, and overpriced, coat

I agree, I honestly can't see what the difference is between sheepskin and leather... :ninja::innocent:

I hate the use of fur when the animals are being bread solely to skin them, and usually, bread and reared in horrific conditions.

But the way I look at is that whilst I choose not to eat meat, I don't believe that everyone should be the same - and so it's hard to object to leather/sheepskin as generally it's a bi-product. Like I say, I'd never tell anyone to stop eating meat, so I'd not really wish to stop anyone using the skin/leather so it doesn't get wasted?

Yeh I guess i'm a bit hypocritical in that i'm vegetarian and wear leather but am opposed to fur. It's just that I think that leather is purposeful -there is no denying that it is stronger and better quality than fake leather for shoes and you need good shoes to protect your feet. However, I don't think fur is purposeful- it is used solely for aesthetic purposes and also to symbolise class and richness.
And sheep are killed to make sheepskin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sheepskin

I meant that they're probably not likely to be killed for just that purpose. It's more than likely they are killed for their meat, and then the sheep skin is used.
