Mindbear: I am not into it either, I am indeed a feather girl normally!

I bought this leather sequin tunic/dress, picture from Topshop.com:

Thats nice, I could never pull it off, I imagine you've got to have a streamlined figure for it to look its best.

There is something very strange about the feather skirt, but I thought it was rather glam in a bizarre unfathomable way. Perhaps I'll wait till I can try it on....

^ i'm in LOVE with that dress   argh...why can't we have topshop here in my area?

ok so my harlequin jumper came...and im a bit disappointed! i was expecting it to be big like the lookbook image and i got a medium, but its not that long/big at all! i guess the lookbook model was wearing a large size. ho hum.

Thanks everyone! :)

Mindbear: I am not sure if you are saying that I should have a skinny figure? But if you are I have to dissapoint you. I am a 14. But I will try it out anyway :)

Mindbear I quite like the feather skirt you posted ^_^ Very cosy looking for Autumn

i've not really been liking topshop a lot lately but I do like this top a lot (from the photo)

Well being a 14 doesn't mean you're not streamlined at all! I'm a size 10 in dresses, but then if I want to wear a pair of jeans, they're a 32 because I'm big and chunky and totally out of proportion on my bottom half. I should have explained myself more rather than appearing totally rude! I'm not streamlined because my size makes no sense, so i couldn't pull that off, but I bet you'll be fabulous in it!

dumbfairy - Thats what attracted me too it, it looks like a very wintery snuggly thing, and thats what I'm in the market for right now!

so no one saw the music notes dress in real life? it costs 75 pounds which is a major ripoff in my opinion. its now sold out from the site. but i still want it.

do you reckon that they will restock it? it was featured in american 17 magazine this month...

I love the skirt version of that, I tried it on at the weekend but my friends didn't like it - meh I wish I'd ignored them now!

So I got the harlequin jumper only because I had £40 worth of stuff to exchange for that actually was in the sale so came to £20 but that the assistant said she'd pay me full price for!!! I love it, it's gorgeous and the shape is lovely BUT i am a little dissapointed that it's so thin! I thought it'd be thick and baggy like worn by Karlie Kloss in the ads. I thought it could be a coat substitute but I was wrong :( I guess it could be though if I wore lots of layers under it. Anyway i still like it. I got a Small because that is the right size for me and I know if I spend that much money it has to be the right size even if I would like bigger. Plus there were only 2 Small's left and about 10 large and mediums so it felt like I was getting a rare size ;)

So the 3 things I have bought in the last couple of weeks are:

The first 2 were both on my wishlist after seeing the whole A/W topshop list thingy and the last thing i saw in store but fell in love with and it said £65 on it but when I got to the till it came up as £95 !!! Well I found it on ebay and won it at £60 so i'm extatic. I never saw it on the website, it must have sold out quickly. It is the softest thing you will ever touch.

mindbear- i like the feather skirt but it's impossible to wear. It would look good but only in a fashion shoot or something haha.

That is fine, I just wasn't quiet sure what you meant ;)

I really like the Ivana Helsinki stuff. Especially that jumper. Though I've spent enough in Topshop lately!
Btw, I saw the gorgeous dress the pink one with layers at the bottom in store. It's amazing though I would never wear it so. :(

I want the cardigan and the grey dress from Ivana Helsinki. It's not meant to be though, i'm skint, and ill so I can't get to the shop, and I'll be buggered if I'm ordering stuff just to get chucked on my doorstep and stolen because they can't be bothered to buzz the door. It's very annoying!

yes, both are so pretty. Aw get well soon :( Did you buy the harlequin jumper btw?

Thank you! I didn't buy the jumper, i'm going to see what it's like in the store first, I want it to fulfill my dreams of a huge jumper to go with rolled up straight jeans and DM's, but I fear it'll not be quite the wonderment I wish it to be.

I'm slightly regretting that lace panel dress now. It's beautiful, but in reality, I'm very busty, and the size 10 is too big round my waist and too tight round my thighs....I just look a bit......sl*tty :(

I have the S and it is quite big and baggy. It is the shape imagined, just not the thickness :( Anyway, I love it and have wanted it since forever so am keeping it!

Hmm idk but if you think that I guess it's better to save money and take it back? Good luck deciding, haha.
