Topshop doesnt reserve the items for you even if they are in your basket. If they sell out while the item is in your basket, it's first come first served. Whoever completes the checkout first gets the item. I've had that happen in the sale plenty of times. And by the time I get to the paypal checkout screen it tells me X amount of items are out of stock and makes me start over...then it will happen again Their system is really quite terrible.

ALSO, whoever was looking for the slashed sleeve black top...it did come out. I saw it on the sale rail for a tenner in my local store. Unfortunately, some b*tch beat me to it.

Same, there are only a couple of things I actually want. Its so annoying, as I have so many things which I love and have worn to death I brought a year or so ago - I don't know what has happened to Topshop...

No, me neither! Except that I was just telling my friend from uni about it on msn, showed her a pic and she rekons she has the same one...so I get to borrow hers hehe She said the slits don't go as low down the back as the promo pics show.

I asked her for the item code so I could google it to try and find the tops old topshop page but I can't find it. Code is 04u35ublk but 0 results ]:

The sale rail was just randomly bang smack in the middle of the floor. final, final FINAL reductions. Took 3 playsuits back and got about 15 other items for a few quid each plus 2 coats! Got a Peter Jensen top for a fiver and that layered dress that looks like a cake for £15 down from £110 B) Maybe this means the BIG sale is coming soon?!

Also, if anyone else is looking for the rodarte kintted jumper...one just came on ebay for Buy it now of £65. Tis a lot but..if anyones desperate..it's there and likely to get removed for having "Rodarte" in the title very soon haha.

that top is very cute!

i basically only ever order jeans from them so i finally received them... i buy in bulk so not very interesting
but i also got a blue and cream check tunic top which i love!
the international shipping is so cheap that i feel like ordering from them every day that is IF i find something

They had some nice pairs of floral tights in Oxford Circus today, and a cool colour block mini. The thing is they keep releasing so many variables of the same thing, I'm not really seeing anything new I want.

making the most of my holidays from school before i have to go back to being a boring teacher...i went into town today, picked up a really nice lace overlay dress with a cutout back, but i cant find it on the website to post a pic. was nude/pink underneath with grey lace over.

tried on the denim playsuit but it looked horrendous on me . im 5'11 with long legs and a long body so i always struggle with playsuits. this 1 looked particularly bad though!

I tried on that Union Jack top about 4 times to see if I liked it but I think the style is so unique that not many people look good in it

That's terrible! And they made it in 3 different colours! Sounds like cheap cotton like their beach dresses. Sometimes the fabric isnt strong enough for the stitching, let a lone as a bodice to hold your bust in!
