omfg i made an order on like last tuesday(from last week not this one) and still it hasnt made it/ so i check today the status on topshop and it says cancelled!!!!! but i checked the bill of my purchases and it says the purchase went through and the money was paid!!! this is really pissing me off! i've been coming home being a dumb*** waiting for it and yet now i know! or is there a chance my order is coming but it just says that?!?!? ugh

caroulemapoule- I LOVE that jacket. It looks like the one I've been trying to hunt down for ages but cannot find online except mine was less curly fur and more glossy. Plus it was fake fur and £65. haha.

I entered this morning and then crashed?, and now I'm trying for a second time with no results. dammit.

I've never shopped at Topshop before but am planning to buy some stuff online.. just curious, how's the quality here?, is it better than H&M?, I see most of their shoes are 100% leather.. it's a pity my size (10) seems to sell out in the blink of an eye, just before I make up my mind .

the only TopMan stuff ive seen in person has been marked up 5-fold at the opening ceremony store in the USA. i think the cute and style are remarkably better than H&M. quality is probably about the same.

for the women's stuff, i believe topshop is one million times better than H&M. (better fit, more size options, better quality) i believe that H&M has turned it back on fashion forward items and only trots them out each november during the designer partnerships. the topshop stuff especially the designer or kate moss items are wonderful!!

im a cheap chic acolyte and i think H&M's shoes should be chucked in the bin for the most part. topman's/topshop's shoes have got to be better! i havent seen any topshop shoes in person.

thanks Lucy!. I never bought H&M shoes myself but I've seen them enough to know they're potential nightmare, I know leather is murder but I can't do otherwise .
I really liked the topshop flats I spotted in their website, and as I suffer a flat crisis right now, I guess that's where I'll head. Their clothing is yet to convince me, I like their evening dresses a lot, except that I have nowhere to take them , but their bottoms and tops.. I can't help to compare them to the worst side of forever 21.

I agree, Topshop items are def. of better quality than H&M. Most of them are more expensive though. H&M used to have much nicer stuff (especially the trend items were good) but I just didn't find anything that I liked or was worth buying there lately.

Does anybody know when the Topshop in SoHo will open? I'll be in NYC in October and would love to check it out.

I love H&M Trend but I feel annoyed when I have to spend more than £30 there, whereas in Topshop I feel like i've got a bargain at £30!
Velony- I heard it's delayed till next year. Apparently it was meant to be this 'fall' [autumn ] but it's been pushed back for some reason.. I may be wrong though but i have heard that.

Also if anyone sees that eye vest in any London store please let me know!!!

yeah!! the black asymmetric ruffle jacket i'm lurking after for weeks and weeks now has arrived at the online store this morning, finally!! i ordered straight away - plus an additional denim skirt i just fell in love with. topshop's so tricky! if you want to order one item you always come up with some more in the end... or is it just me?


i'm really excited how it comes out in the flesh.

i'm sooo so sick of how bad topshop's quality is!! i can have american apparel tees not look slightly different in the wash yet i wash a topshop tee once and it looks awful.

I agree with the shoe quality, H&M's is pretty awful (they don't even do my size though not too much of a loss!) but I think Topshop's shoes are completely overpriced. Guess you can't win with me
