Those purple strappy heels are gorgeous. Sadly though I find that Topshop's shoes often look amazing but do not last, the quality is really quite poor, as it generally is with Topshop's leather goods.

i've ordered a jacket from topshop, and after a few weeks it finally arrived.
this was the worst packeting i've ever seen. i've only ordered from net-a-porter before, but this can't be standard for all cheaper stores, or is it?

it just was a grey thin rubbish bag, nothing more. and in it was a broken hanger that was pointing out from the bag. now that i bought a jacket it was okay, but what about a thin dress or something else sensitive.
it's cheaper to buy on internet and pay shipping, than buy it in the stores here in sweden, but i will never do it again.

i bought this jacket:

5 pound is cheap, but it shouldn't have to be that cheap.
I just found out that a pair of shoes my parents ordered for christmas present to me didn't arrive in a box or anything. They weren't high heels but it still think something more than a thin plastic bag should be used.

that's so strange because when i order stuff it comes packaged quite well in a dotted paper bag

then again the last time i bought something online was nearly a year ago so their standards might have dropped hhaa

The thing with the jeans, is to look in the label. I find that their 98% cotton 2% elastane jeans come up true to size/bigger as they stretch more, and anything with less elastane comes up smaller. I've stopped buying jeans there as I tend to be in between sizes (and was having a serious fat day the last time i went). You can end up wearing so many different sizes in there, so the best thing is to try as many pairs on as possible. Order loads of pairs to get free delivery, then send back the ones that don't fit.

Thanks for the advice! I shall go-a-jean hunting soon - I really want some black skinnies (but not skin tight one).

On the Susie Bubble link, I love the grey flowered skirt which is on the mannequin - I really don't like the one on the hanger though. There are also some gorgeous looking shoes, which will no doubt tempt me (despite being utterly impractical and poor quality). I also love that visual affects white "flowered" tee. oooh and the Rodart-esque knits

Thanks for the ads loverunway - I also love the floral dress. Although, it would have to styled well else you risk looking like your wearing a curtain

I know, I bought some gorgeous gold platform heels, and the colour started to come off after the first wear. Then they went in the sale at half price, i was not impressed.
