I just bought the ostrich feather skirt in grey! I like it more than the pink one from before, which I missed out on because it sold out too quickly.

ETA: Actually looking at it again, the pink/nude skirt has more graduated feathers whereas the grey one is more even, which to be honest I don't like AS much. AND it's 10 pounds more!!! Hmm starting to feel regretful

I also bought the black Aztec boots. I've been eyeing them off for a long time and I saw a girl wearing them today in red, and they looked great.

I like this jacket, probably would have preferred the all black version that featured in an old Kate Moss collection tho...
Plus you can see quite clearly on the front that one of the beige tassels is loose and falling off...don't the team of people who photograph the items notice things like that? :/ Don't know if I'd spend 75 pounds for that quality either...

no i don't think it is topshop's fault really it's that the trends from last fall have kind of come back around (some of them)

It's not really next seasons trends... Anyway, I don't think Topshop always stick to trends they usually make up their own [like they had that massive harlequin thing going on 2 seasons after it was on the catwalk]. I just think they're being lazy That's not to say I don't like some of it...

no loverunway they always stick to the trends at least a little. that's why they are often featured in elle/vogue.

I didn't say that they didn't have trends, I just said that they featured non trends as well...
Anyway, the fact that Elle/Vogue feature them means nothing. Topshop pays Elle/Vogue to be featured and Elle/Vogue want to feature Topshop because it's appealing to the younger reader

I think what makes them lazy is using the exact same pieces or very similar pieces as previous seasons. It's not that the looks or trends being the same is the problem...it's like you guys just scraped that crap off your warehouse floor and sold it again!!

i can see their point of doing that if the items sell well but really i don't think at least for this fall 2009 season all the lookbooks don't really show lots of items that are being repeated
