Oooh, silly me, I forgot to actually say what I got! I got the black wedge shoe with the patent trim and zip. They're gorgeous, but in reality, far too expensive for a topshop based shoe. They're getting a bit over the top with what they're charging for stuff now....I mean, you may as well go high end if you're going to be paying over £200 for a simple Topshop Unique item...

I got the breton jumper btw....and it's just that bit TOO short. It doesn't even reach my belly button!

I agree actually. I think the basics are still great value but the price difference between these and everything else is getting quite big.

Anyone else notice in the UK October Vogue in the supplement it has the Boutique sequin dress for £90? I HATE it when they do that... it's so annoying if the item isn't out yet and when it is it's like double the price grrr

Yeah, it's quite deceivingly, cheaply made. It's one of those pieces that you just wish was nice in real life!

I ordered it. I am in the US, though, so it probably won't arrive until early next week. If for some reason you have not tried it on by the time I receive mine, I will let you know about the length and fit.

I got the sequin dress, it's on the short side and I'm only 5'2", ahaha. I don't know about the fit, it's too big for me on the top half and too small on the bottom half. I think that's just me though, alot of my dresses are like that.
I eventually got it on yesterday then got stuck in it... Aww god.

I find the quality of Emma Cook boots really good. I got the dark red color of the boots. When I saw the picture of Emma Cook's new boots I didn't like it at all. But when I saw the shoes in real life, they look much better than photos and the detail and quality is superb. I normally hate fringed style shoes but strangely it doesn't look very bad on these boots. So I'm happy with my purchase, although I have to admit I would still prefer the original, non-fringed Emma Cook boots from the 1st release. Just a shame I can hardly find them with a suitable price now.
