i went to the student even in newcastle, it was crazy!
queued half an hour to get in, 20 minutes for changing rooms and an hour for the tills... all to save £4
i thought it was exciting though, i like business
did anyone else notice that stores seemed to have specially got in some of the nicer pieces? i was in tuesday daytme and none of them were there but that night there were loads of the nicer pieces newcastle dontnormally stock

ahh i've never bothered with the student shop you don't really save THAT much as you can get 20% off all year round and its rare that i go in Topshop now and see LOADS that I like usually like 1 or 2 things.
Yes I noticed that too.. I was in last week with time to spare and had a wander round on the shoes they had a pair of Boutique shoes. Bit odd that they just have 1 pair (it was in the normal bit too not the Buy it now bit) but I suppose they have to start somewhere!

I bought the KM knitted rodarte-esq jumper the other week (I love it ) but when I tried it on again at home it had a big hole in the side which just looked daft even though its holey this was just huuuge. So i ordered another online but they didn't have a 12 so I ordered a 14 and its so small I cant fit my head through it hah how bizarre

you need an NUS card

To clarify, you need any valid student card, with a school or college name, and expiry date (either date or year 2009/2010). Oxford Circus has been known to be a bit stricter, but if your card spells everything out, you should be fine.

Seriously, my Christopher Kane things still haven't arrived. It's almost 2 weeks now.
For some reason Topshop no longer uses the Dutch postal service but some private company which employes people who deliver as a part time job.
I so hope it arrives tomorrow, otherwise it will probably be next week >.<

I've been worried about the Christopher Kane Eyelet Mirror mesh dress I returned by post last Saturday. I still haven't got the email from Topshop confirming they have received it and refund is in progress. It's a 125 quid dress and I'm really worried if it got lost. I tried the tracking number I got from the post office and Royal Mail's tracking result only shows that I posted this item last Saturday from my local post office. Am really worried ...

I'm in a similar situation, although I didn't post mine until Thursday (away on business - nightmare). Do you have to post the item back within 14 days or does it have to be received by Topshop within 14 days? If the former then I'm fine, but if it's the later then it's already 2 weeks since I ordered the items. Can they really keep my money!? What happens if they don't receive them in time? Argh! It's over £300 of clothing!

I'm afraid their policy states that they must receive it within the 14 days..

They might not be that strict on it, but their policy is that they must have it before the end of the 14 days.

most shops seem to be having their mid season sale about now. when do you think topshop will have theirs?

Log in to your account and select 'Request a return' from the 'My Orders' section. Click the order number containing the items you want to return and follow the 'Create return' link next to the order number. Select the items you wish to send back to us with a reason for each. Once you click the 'Create Return' button you will be given a unique Returns Authorisation Number. Write this number along with your name and address in the areas provided on the freepost returns label sent with your order. Peel off the freepost label, stick it to the parcel and post it to us so within 14 days of receipt.

If this is the case I should be ok!

I was staring at them for ages they are so wierdly amazing. Ahh maybe someone bought them online and took them back there...didn't think of that before, haha.

I'm so annoyed! Bloody topshop, they brought out a coat that seemingly no one but me bought last year, and I was so happy, everyone thought it was vintage and super cool, and they've brought it out again, and now everywhere I go, someone is wearing my coat and I want to burn it! Argh!
