Also, bought this today for £5 at the Topshop jumble sale as well as a lot of Topshop knitwear, a floral longline bra and some heels all at £5 each. It was in a size 6 as well!

i hate how topshop sells out so fast. more annoyingly, i recently ordered something and then got an email cancelling my order, saying it had sold out.

I heard there's a chance Topshop boutiques could be opening inside Bay locations in Canada. This could be great news for Canadians! I wonder how large the shops will be though. I think about the size of the Topshop in LaForet in Tokyo, and it's so tiny. I hope they don't end up being that small.

I honestly cannot imagine Topshop opening a concession in any HBC stores. If anything, I think they would be more likely to team up with Holt's. They've done concessions in designer stores before (Colette). HBC sells nothing else like Topshop nor is their target clientele the same as Topshop's. Other than tFsers, not many Canadians know about Topshop so I doubt having in it any Bay stores would draw people in either.

Meg-In a way, I think it's a pretty smart idea for both parties. The Bay is really trying to rebrand themselves as a fashion powerhouse in Canada and making a lot of changes to their brand lineup. For Topshop, it's a good way to test the Canadian market without committing to an expensive storefront on, say, Robson street. I know there have been talks to bring Topshop to Canada for some time now.

well I'm surprised by that. I think Holt's is a much more natural fit to achieve that. And Holt's girls are more likely to have heard of Topshop than the average HBC customer. I don't think it really counts though when they only put it in specialized branches in Toronto and Vancouver. But thanks for linking to the article!

Agreed. And Holts did carry some of Kate Moss' Topshop line (apparently, I never saw it!). You're right, the average young Holts customer is much more likely to know Topshop than the average young Bay customer (if such a thing exists ).

Who knows when/if this will be announced. Of course I'd rather there be an actual Topshop/Topman storefront-but better this than nothing!
