^ Yes, waistcoats are very fun! Especially when they are loose.... ...and in black.....

I like sales.

Smocking is very nice too. Haider Ackermann does it well...

- Victoriana
- boleros ( though it's more because they keep me warm where I need it than because of aesthetics :P )
- cuff bracelets (the trend seems to have faded immediately after its beginning over here. I see some supersized bangles, but very seldom nicely crafted cuffs)
- parasols/ nice umbrellas (though it's not really a trend, they are still more seen than a few years ago)
- ballet flats
- pencil skirts
- gloves
- delicate stoles, wrap or shawls
- t-bar shoes
- diy/knitting/sewing (not the kind that's made to look as if the wearer made it when it's not the case, à la Fendi knit Chef, or the even worse fake deconstructed clothes that still can be seen everywhere)
it's nice to see people actually creating what they want with their own hands

Dry denim is definitely the "in" thing in streetwear right now, it even reached the sneakerheads and other proto hip-hop kids. It's still a great look and those jeans age quite gracefully.

The resurgence of the neo-goth and army looks. Looks great in moderation for boys and lady can go all out and it still looks great, I prefer when they wear softer colors though...

Welcome to tFS Fuuma. :flower:

What do you mean by dry denim!? Non strechy ones, or raw denim...!?

I enjoy skinny jeans, gold, lace, layers, bermudas, tweed (though it's a classic, not really a trend).. and neo-goth.

Lots of examples of dry denim in "what are you wearing today" thread :flower:

Second that, and of course agree with neoGothic  :flower:

I must say, though, I don't see much "street style" here ... more the absence of it :ninja:

I recently saw a girl who was dressed just beautifully though, transitional outfit, teal, camels, knits, raw leather ... so some good color trends there ...

The thing I've been seeing on the street that bugs the living s&*+ out of me is camisole tops worn under but peeking out enough for me to see that they're wrinkled to death--look like they've been balled up on the floor of the closet for months. That really sets my teeth on edge :innocent:

Raw (unwashed) denim. I'm mostly speaking from a boy's perspective as most girls (broad generalization here please don't be offended if that doesn't describe you) want quicker results than having to break-in their jeans themselves over the months/years (nothing wrong with that btw). The search for "authenticity" or "realness" that is found in many male buyers of raw denim is too nerdy and too much to bother with for a majority of female buyers. If you ad to that the common misconception (it's the best way to get sharp contrast between the darkly colored jeans and the used areas if you're into that though) that you can't wash your jeans for months if you want optimal results you're bound to turn off the remaining ones....

Of course now that raw denim is starting to be "in" in its pristine, unwashed form (rockabilly style!!) you'll start to find many brands and models that will cater to a growing demand in the female segment of the market.

I like..

-vests/waistcoats
-black
-skinny jeans

What are you wearing post #4739 page #237, post by tangerine. Notice how glossy and stiff the jeans look (I have no idea if it's okay to link to other threads so I won't do it here.....). Basically all jeans manufactured are sent to the laundry and go through some washing(s) to give them the used look that consumer crave, dry jeans are NOT washed so they're stiff, very dark and show absolutely no trace of wearing. Back in the days all jeans sold were of the unwashed/dry variety and your grandfather broke them in by himself, but he worked 14hrs on a farm instead of drinking martinis so his relationship to clothing and the significance of breaking it in was quite different than it is now...:P

yes, waistcoats totaly rule my wardrobe at the moment, already bought my third in two months, i'm almost addicted to them.. planning to get another one nxt week or sooner (i prefer wearing them closed usually its black over black)

jeans wise, they need to be real dark, slim, heavy and high(ish) waisted
'raw' is better than stretch in my book

i actualy like those new-ish long key chain charms (NOT the kitch Prada robot copies and not the pompom versions) that are worn on bags..

ps. glad you enjoy the thread, i knew we were missing the positive vibes
