Wide-fit everything! It all started with Philo during her big years at Celine, and tbh I loved it at first, but now everything you see on the runways is wide shirts with wide jackets with wide pants and clunky "artsy" shoes.

its not a trend per se but im tired of seeing ppl dressed as if they're part of Dawson's creek cast (or any other tv show from the early 00's), its cool to be inspired by a decade/the past but to just copy it without any effort is soooo corny lol like come up w something else

It’s an unfortunate sign of the dire times.

Someone associating an obsolete brand as Yeezy as passable professional wear is no different than the legions upon legions of desperate status chasers that associate logo/monogram/signature with "luxury". As if any of the logo/monogram/signature infested junk churned out by current-era YSL/Dior/Vuitton bothers to remotely adhere to some artisan carftmasnhsip that’s the hallmark of luxury. People that display and flaunt their status-fodder YSL/Louboutin/Vuitton statement bags/shoes are no different than those that believe Yeezy is professional footwear.

The days of actually being able to learn about artisanal craftsmanship/dressmaking/construction by simply studying a RTW coat/suit/dress are long gone. How can this generation possibly learn anything of quality when it’s just logo/monogram/signature on outlet basics? Blame the greedy corporations, not the witless consumer.

I remember once I got back to my home country for vacation and everyone was wearing Alexander Mcqueen's shoes with the logo in them. I legit thought they were real until I saw them being sold in the cheapest stores and turned out people were wearing fake shoes. I wanted to slap the hell out of them and burn the shoes because I find it insulting people would buy fake shoes without knowing the legacy of the brand. Mcqueen and sneakers are miles away from each other. Hate the trend of wearing fake clothes just for the logo.
