Trends you regret trying

platforms. I blame it on the spice girls. I had a pair of blue, suede, loafer-type platforms. I'm talking 4 inch... and cork-semi-wedge sandals.
To my defense: I was 12. It was horrid!!!

^ SAME HERE! I had two horrendous looking pairs of platforms when I was around that age and I too blame the Spice Girls. Have you ever seen their ridiculous looking platforms on their movie poster??! I can't believe I used to think it was cool! :p

I used to be obsessed with sportswear as well.

Tear-aways, anyone? Those silly looking trackpants with the buttons down the sides? I used to wear those before I knew what was good for me!

I had a pair of jeans that said "Von Dutch" across the butt! I get embarrased just thinking about it in my head! NEVER EVER AGAIN!  :yuk:

a short t-shirt and leggings with nothing covering my ***!!!
WHY WHY WHY!!! :furious:

Well most recently: skinny jeans. My fat *** should never be seen in skinny jeans and never will be seen in them again. Although some people can rock them and all the power to them.

I'm a child of the 90s.
Scrunchies. HUUUUUGE ones, most of which were tapestry patterened.
Tommy Hilfiger. I thought I was hot stuff with that Tommy Girl Jeans tshirt....hahahaha.
Overalls.
elastic-waisted jeans
Socks with lace on the cuffs. (worn with my cutoffs and NoFear tshirt, of course!)

Oh yeah, and jellies. I loooooooooved jellies.

I actually wasn't allowedto wear leggings. My mom decided that they were too tight and that wasn't modet (on a 7 year old???).

POLO, GAP, D&G written across my chest... that was not too long ago :blush::cry::cry::ninja::ninja:

as an actual "allergic" reaction to that, i now tend to erase tiny red labels or RL flags, or green crocodiles... maybe i'll one day regret trying this too

The Tommy Hilfiger flag was my religion in elementary school. My sister wore Tommy's nylon windbreakers for men and I would sneak them off to school with me in the morning sometimes...

Big, baggy t-shirts & leggings. I now wear them in bed or around the house & find it hard to believe I actually went out like that.

loose fitting shirts, no shape

jeans with not a lot of stretch, dunno if it was a trend but it was umcomfortable lol

& its not really i trend i tried or embraced but my sister bought me a shirt last week. its pretty trendy right now. plain black short sleeve top and it has like a stitch line above the boobs..its looks good on flatter girls but for me its weird..awkward line placement then the boob part tents out and its very a-line so you cant see the shape of my waist..it makes me look like a christmas tree!

Ok the first thing I read when I opened this thread was 'Timberland stilettos'. I cannot.top.that.

It's kind of a funny that a lot of these trend faux-pas are back in again this season!

OH MY GOD. I had that exact same pair of jeans. I was a sophomore in high school and had like three pairs, and that stupid LV multicoloured pochette with the Von Dutch trucker hats. I had some pretty chunky blonde highlights, too.

I shudder when I look back at photographs.

everything abercrombie, juicy, and hollister. I wore a lot of solow's too... EWW
