I don't know if I replied or if I mentioned the fashion trend turn no-no.
*I wore baggy clothing. It's like I was drowning in fabric. I wore clothing not twice my size it was more like 3x or 4x my size.
*Flannel/plaid. Some look ok but it's not for me.
*Panyhose/stockings as arm warmers you know the "goth" look. I cut off the feet and the top and only used the legs as arm warmers.
*Long denim skirts. Ick.
*Sneakers. I still wear sneakers while exercising or once in blue moon when not exercising. Before sneakers were just a staple in my wardrobe. I never wore shoes besides when I use to go to church. I'm glad I made the full transition to shoes I feel like I'm more polished without sneakers.
* Sweats. You will never catch me wearing sweats as a daily wear. Never again I say! Sweats are for exercising or lounging at home, painting and cleaning.
*Worrying about being seen in the same clothes twice in a row. I don't care anymore. If I want to wear this jeans on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. I will. If I want to wear this shirt on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday then yes I will. For some reason where I live (and elsewhere in America) wearing the same clothing back to back is a fashion faux pas (sp?). You're either dirty, or going through a difficult time if you're wearing the same clothing back to back. It's clean and it shouldn't matter because I'm sure most people aren't washing their jeans after one wear or shirt after one wear (taken into account if the shirt or jeans isn't soiled). There really isn't a difference between wearing something twice in one week or waiting to wear it again (without washing might I add) next week.
