Me too! I also like the kind of wide, broad collars on the jackets I've been seeing. Such a nice change.

I applaud the metallics.....although some I could do without....the PS top Soft posted I love.

There have been quite a bit of nuetral palettes (in the collections that I really liked) I think they are accented by the metallics brilliantly, especially with metallic leather goods and the aforementioned big necklaces.

Even though I've only seen it from Luella, I hope that python makes a statement. Actually, never mind, I'll keep it for myself for another season....

The whole "ladylike" thing seems to be continuing with the vintage (50s-60s) influence as does the preppy thing, which I just don't see the point unless it's Lacoste. (Why would you need a polo from Luella?)

One that I can't help but question is all the shorts on the runways. The are everywhere. I think it looks very hip on certain girls, slightly baggy, rolled up with heels. I have to question the look actually breaking through though. Shorts have to be one of the toughest things to wear fashionably. Even as a guy, I always feel wierd in shorts--even when I lived in Florida.

Oh look....Python for me!

Still seeing the pretty, lady-like stuff going on (don't really like it).....bows, floaty stuff, pretty pretty pretty, when will it stop?

another boxy 3/4 slv retro jkt at marc jacobs...

I agree with you Spike, I could do without the bows. They're starting to get on my nerves with them being tied everywear.

Military references are definitely popping up here and there, but not the typical ones. There is definitely a Civil War uniform that is showing up from Galliano mens to Anna Sui.
