What about bamboo? I saw "bamboo shoes" and a bamboo watch from Gucci, and I saw bamboo bangles in InStyle this month. I love this trend, but I read an article on the "How are trends decided?" thread, and a "trend-finder" said that this would be big in 2006. Well, is it a spring trend or should I wait until next year to try it?

oh yes, I definitely think bamboo bangles are going to be big a big trend- all the hipsters here wear them.

Excellent - I just bought bamboo bracelets to sell in Seoul next week... it can be reassuring sometimes to have confirmation that your subconciously on the right track. Thanks for the posts above. It's also great as it's a resource that is not hurting anyone or anything. Cheers for the posts above
