True Blood

^ I thought that was quite typical True Blood humour though. It was kind of funny.
My favourite part was the "I'm a gay vampire American" and I thought they'd keep Tara in by making her a vampire... She knew what would happen to her character all along :D

It set the next few episodes up very well, but I'm not sure I can be bothered watching Jason mope over Jessica all season.

I loved it when Pam said "I am wearing a Walmart sweat suit for you all. If that's not a demontsration of team spirit, I don't know what it is." :p
She always has the best lines!

It feels so good to have the show back. The episode was seriously good, great humour ( Lafayette killed me in that scene with Alcide) , some good thrilling action scenes and a great touch of drama. Pam, Lafayette and Jessica are still my faves but I'm not sure I'll be able to bare Jason's broken hearted story any longer.

I'm already hooked, so many questions and mysteries : Terry's story especially. I love this character so I'm really looking forward to know his secrets. Can't wait for next week episode, those 55 minutes run like 5 it's crazy

I think that entirely forgetting the book´s plot was their best move. The in-between of past seasons wasn´t working but now that everything is different imo it regained what made the show great.
I´m excited for this season like I didn´t think I would be :)

^ Yes, definitely. I read the first book but couldn't carry on with book 2. It's so painfully bad to read especially that horribly played out joke about Elvis being a vampire...

^It´s the other way around for me. I prefer the books over the show. imo the show lost its campiness after season 2, which the books still have. I think the show "ruined" a lot of the books´plots by not going the extra campy mile (Jason´s storyline, the witches, the Queen)... though in its defense they introduced the Newlins and that was over the top campy.

At least now after watching episode one I´m interested in what´s next cause it seems totally new :)

Agreed Koko, i read all the books, and they are SOOOO out in left field, but i do like both, for what both offer

Tonights epi was awesome, loved the back-story on Pam & Eric, as well as seeing Meloni, he was very commanding, and the story surround terry is getting good, here's the clip for next weeks trueblood

The second episode was less thrilling but there were some pretty good part. I love what they do with the vampire plot, they're nailing this part IMO and I can't wait to see more of the authority and their inner community quarrels. I also can't wait to see more of Pam and Eric's past. They're chemistry on screen is amazing and quite tpuching. Other favourite part of the ep was Steve Newlin   I love him as a vampire and I just want to pinch Michael McMillian's cheeks everytime he appears on screen. When he crashed Jessica's party and danced his way in I was literaly dead.

I'm not completely sold about the werewolves/shifters plot, But I'm interested. Martha really intriguies me but I officialy can't stand Luna.

As for Terry, well I don't understand a sh*t about this plot.

The only real bad point for me was Tara :( :(. She didn't look very convincing IMO. Jason and Hoyt feud bother me a bit too.

God i love this show, such an epic mess, but in a good way, i really get sucked in their world. My ultimate guilty pleasure show.

^^I agree on all points. I also loved the Newlin/Jessica scene at Bill´s study LOL
