But yeah I totally understand...I remember when I first started to watch this show and they switched from Eng to Swed I couldn't tell which language it was either I guess my brain was all focused on English ATM, but there's only one real swedish guy right???

In the books the author only says that Eric was a viking but she doesn´t specify from which country and Sookie doesn´t know which language he speaks, she only says it´s a foreign language...
But since Alexander is swedish they make Eric speak it on the show, I´d say.

well should they speak Old Norse? i guess Eric lived in Sweden even after the Viking Age and learned and adopted the swedish language.
and i guess this is just easier since Alex is swedish. in the few scenes that were shown of them in the viking age i agree it doesn't make sense but in the "new age" scenes it's ok

I agree with you..I just thought it was funny, especially the first time since I didn't know that the guy who plays Eric is Swedish Yeah I live under a rock

Just saw the season finale!

Love Eric!!! ... Pam rocks!

Spoilers:
-Alcide made an appearance! Love him!
-Bill and Eric throw Russell into a hole with silver chains on him and cover him with cement. Then Bill turns around and throws Eric into one of the other holes and buries him in cement too! (Pam saves Eric though! )
-Jessica and Hoyt buy a house together = awww!
-Hoyt's mother buying a gun to kill Jessica. Uh oh!
-Bill and Queen Sophie Ann! Flying through the air at eachother, kung fu style!
-Sookie went with Claudine!!!

I really don't know how I feel about the final. It wasn't as good as last season's.

I do know that Pam was badass and Sookie was cool when she threw Talbot down the drain and had a few good lines. The were-people were an eyesore. Sorry but it's true. I can't believe Bill did that to Sookie in Ep 1. Sophie-Ann's outfit was gorgeous. Poor Lafayette. I hate Tara's new hair. Jason is such a f*ckup. I'm scared for Jessica. Sam's gone weird and needs to GTFO.

I really don't know where the show will go next season. I have no clue.

It was very boring, but leave us lot of good questions and wtf moments.

i love Taras new hair, she looks so fresh and sweet now (but i'm a little worried since she drove off in the end. i know she's not a favorite, but i don't want her to leave, i have a soft spot for her)
overall the finale was pretty boring, ERW is so lame as the queen it's unbearable, hope they kill her off sooner than in the books
don't like how they interpret the faeries, i much prefered their relationship in the books =/

My two-cents on the finale

-Jason/Hotshot storyline is so lame. The book´s is better, they should have keep it as it is...

-Tara is leaving town! YAY!

-Didn´t care much about Jessica, Sam, Arlene or Lafayette... too many characters with little time on air to create interesting storylines.

-How come Bill didn´t know that Eric would call for Pam the minute he hits the foundation?! Bad a$$ Pam is the best! or maybe he thought Ruben would be faster?

-Eric looked incredible HOT all covered in cement at Sookie´s house!!

-Bill´s secret is finally out, Die Bill Die

-The Queen´s outfit was great! but the fight scene was horrible, where were they? in the Matrix? those effects are so 10 years ago!
