I'm pretty sure Alan Ball made that statement either at the beginning of this season or only about half-way through which would have been before the bombing in Dallas and the death of Godric because I remember hearing that almost a month ago so I'm almost 90% positive that the deaths he was referring to were Stan and Godric. I'd be really shocked if they killed any of the main vamps. Jessica and Pam are both way too popular with fans so I think they will keep them alive just like they did with Layfayette. He is a huge fan favorite so at the end of season one instead of killing him like they did in the book the show kept him alive. Just the idea that they would kill off Eric or Bill is so ridiculous its laughable. They wouldn't even consider doing that in a million years. Bill and Eric are as much a mainstay of the series as Sookie herself is so we really don't have to start worrying about them unless we get to a season 10+ because at the end of book 9 they are both still alive and book 9 is the latest book in the series. Book 10 doesn't come out until May 2010 so we know Eric and Bill will be fine until then at least. Anyway I don't think we really have to worry about losing any of our favorites at least not just yet.

I just watched the complete first season in less then 24 hours. I'm addicted. And the thing is I've watched it before, but couldn't get into it due to the bad fake accents. Time to start season two, though.
