there was a new clip of season 3 after a rerun aired tonight, dont know if anyone saw it but it was with sam

heres what it was about:
some guy who they didn't show had a gun up to sam's face
guy: "don't move. get out of the car."
sam: "well which one is it- dont move or get out?"

That´s a storyline created for the show. Was it his lost brother? I can´t remember exactly which member of his family he mentions in S2 final episode
