Well nearly everybody wears uggs here, and they look really cute, they're nothing like the ones you posted there! Then again some peopel go over the top, they buy uggs that are 2 sizes too big lined with a huge mass of Big Bird from sesame street (yes thats where he has gone, into uggs)...I hate the way the uggs are divided by the "dosral" fin effect in that picture....uggs should be really soft and not divided up in that way.....

I love them I don't care what other people say! lol! I'm going to get a pair of uggs and moccasins! I just think they are soo comfy and cute for real casual days! I like the picture by the way with those socks

They are ugly X100000000. Why do people wear them? They make your chunky legs look chunkier and your non-chuinky legs look chunky.

Moccassins, however, are great. Especially the gold Miu Miu ones that just came in.

Uggs... Yes, they are not the most attractive boot, but they are comfy. I don't wear mine out in public very often- Only when it is muddy/snowy. Then I wear them just from the porch to the car and then when I get to say, the grochery store, I change shoes. But besides that, they are house-bound!

dont like the uggs in the picture! but i think the short ones look good when wearin jeans or if u feel 2 self concious 2 wear em out get some ugg slippers and enjoy the comfort in your own home!

i'd say go for it buy them and wear em with pride.

Ugg Attack

I have this friend who likes to TRY to keep up in style. She bought these type of Ugg look a like boots that are a really light khaki. They are really cute with some outfits.. but the problem is- she wears them with almost the same outfit EVERY day. Some sort of shirt, a pleaded skirt, and uggs. Every day. Not to mention- its SNOWING here when she wears them.

But we have finally knocked some sense into her...somewhat. Now she just wears them everyday with jeans. She even wore them with her cheerleading outfit at a game.

Is it me? Or is she over-doing the "uggs" a bit... I kinda thought those were running out of style.

Well, what can I say?

Uggs are obviously ugly, trendy or not. In case you haven't noticed in the "trendy girls' world" Uggs are OUT, their new trend are Mukluks (rabbit fur boots made in Canada).

I don't think the fact she wears jeans with Uggs help a lot?!?!?! Seriously, if she thinks Uggs are cool, then she's pretty welcome to wear them. It all comes down to a question of taste and ideology. Some people LOVE to follow trends, while others don't, some people think Uggs are cute, some don't.

So who cares what people think, as long as she feels great when wearing those overexposed boots, then, it's all up to her.

I love uggs, and although in my opinion they do go with alot of things!! Even if they aren't in fashion, I love them cos they are so comfortable.

In my school like 80% of the girls wear UGGs or a knock-off of them to school every day. They own them in like 5 different colors and wear them with EVERYTHING. Especially skirts. Even when its like freezing and everyone is wearing coats to class they'll be standing there in a huge parka and a miniskirt, freezing their *** off. Its so pathetic.

nothing is out of style if you pull it off properly-unfortunately, only a few people can claim to have that knack.

I don't understand- If the Uggs are comfortable but are so called "rip offs" whats the big deal? I would much rather pay say 40-70 dollars instead of 100+

I think your friend should wear whatever she likes.. however outlandish it may be. I have many friends who wear clothes I don't like but hey, they aren't me

it about high street companies seing kate moss and such in them and thinking.....'OOH lets do exactly the same thing so millions of girls can buy them to look trendy'

its just trashy when EVERYONE is wearing them everywhere you go, especially gross people who are blatantly just seing someone famous wearing them and trying to look like them

I have a black pair with a fur trim-i got them cheaply cause i won't be wearing them a lot. They're essentially for keeping my legs warm over my jeans when i'm on my moped! lol! Where i live there are very few around I won't be wearing them with everything though... I have two other pairs of boots and a lot of shoes that all need airing as well. If she loves them let her wear them, people shouldn't have to stick to strict fashion rules, there's nothing wrong with wearing something you like a lot! If people told me i wore my fave pair of jeans too much i'd tell them where to go!
