yeah I kinda agree, and there is a difference in quality with uggs, In the real uggs the sheepskin is soooo soft, and thick. And it goes all the way around. In some of the rip offs you get it at the top and that's it, which defeats the purpose. And in the really cheap ones, it's not even sheepskin, it's some weird fluffy material.

But I do understand that some people do not want to pay £140-150 for uggs.

I kinda want to buy uggs still and i dont think it would be that out of fashion because i dont think guys have really explored uggs yet, in fact i dont think ive ever seen a guy wear uggs on the street.

i saw a picture of Matthew Mcconaughey wearing short black low uggs once, it looked alright.

anyway, i've never really been a big fan of uggs. they're not necessarily ugly, and i think there a worse shoes to complain about (mukluks... ), but they're definitely not something i would wear regardless of how comfortable and warm they are. Then again, I live in Florida and can't really say much about the cold. B) To the OP-- I don't think the important question here is whether or not they are trendy, but whether or not you like them and are comfortable wearing them. If that's the case and you're confident, then go for it.

My sister got authentic uggs the past fall when i told her not to cuz it was over exposed but she wanted them becuase they were warm...I borrowed them and they are incredibly warm, comfy and soft.
I am wearing a pair of sheep skin boots right now at home. They were from my cousin from australia that gave them to me more than 10 yrs ago..they look exactly like uggs more leather than seude. I remember i HATED them and they were sitting in the basement for more than 10 yrs...but since i realised how warm my sisters uggs where i wear these at home. The brand is called Skinny's... probably older than the Uggs brand.
But it still Urks me when i see ppl with fake ones (non sheepskin) thinking its all that...this boot is about function/quality..

I got a pair of camel coloured Uggs (well more like Rocket Dog ones) and I am male.

I bought mine in London in Shoezone. I know they are cheap versions of the real thing, but I cant belive how comfortable they are

In my school like 80% of the girls wear UGGs or a knock-off of them to school every day. They own them in like 5 different colors and wear them with EVERYTHING. Especially skirts. Even when its like freezing and everyone is wearing coats to class they'll be standing there in a huge parka and a miniskirt, freezing their *** off. Its so pathetic.

Mhm, the girls here do that too. Except they're not in 5 different colors. They tend to stick with the original color . . the beige or whatever. And just when I thought legwarmers with flipflops was over, not only do I see them with flipflops now, but with uggs. Only a few girls though, since it looks . . . like . . . a mess. What is the point of legwarmers and uggs? Really the only other difference is that girls here are too stupid to wear a huge parka, and they wear tiny shirts that say "I see you've met the twins" or "Life is better topless" or whatever Abercrombie's latest shirt says.
