Uggs

You're in denial.

They were in for a minute. I still wear mine around the house. They keep my feet toasty. And I have no qualms wearing them out in public once the weather gets cool enough.
 well perhaps they were for the minions that worship the paris hiltons and sienna millers of this world. There's absolutely nothing wrong for those like yourself, who wear them for warmth & comfort.

uggs.... UFFF!:(

i have always found them very ugly! i cant think of any girl looking sexy wearing such boots. not even the hottest one, me thinks.

Sonny xxx

I don't care how they look.

When you live through winter's that reach below freezing temperatures it really doesn't matter. I'm not going to suffer with cold feet just because someone thinks they are "out"...

Uggs are very comfortable and warm, that is good enough for me.

they were in for like four months 2 years ago...yea i mean wear them to lounge around in..i just find it funny tho wen ppl wear them and they act like they are the sh*t because they are wearing uggs and a skirt ahahaha..soory i just find that so funny:lol:

but of course you have the right to wear what you like, esp. if you find them comfy and warm. personally if i lived in a very cold country... i think i would try something different as i dont like "Uggs" at all. i have many times had this same discussion with my best mate and we always disagree indeed:flower: .
no offenses, please!:)

i loved my uggs to lounge round the house.......
but, i wish i hadn't gotten black ones.
i don't wear them anymore because they stain my feet black.....and it doesn't come off for days!!!
and i can't bring myself to buy another pair @ full price

I can't believe there is a thread on this-

Lets just sum up the whole thing and say OUT

:ninja:

I think as a fashion trend, Uggs are soo out, but I guess if you want to wear them to keep warm, go ahead. As long as you don't do the dreaded mini skirt-uggs combo, I think you're fine.

I'm going to have to go with the general concensus, for fashion no.. to keep warm of course! ^_^ when I find better snow boots I won't wear uggs.

!!!!!!!!!!!

I was thinking of getting the Ugg Brooks boots for winter (which look a little different) but now I am afraid!

Uhh.. I never thought they were IN... the only place they should be IN is in a garbage can.

They definitely are ugly, it's true, but they look SO COMFORTABLE I have had to make an effort to resist - I've never tried them on because I know I will like how they feel. I am so miserable when my feet are cold.

So what that they make my feet look like a loaf of bread... I still wear them during ski season! If I could, I'd wear them all year round just because they are the most confortable things I have ever worn, but then again, I think it would just be weird to wear them in the summer when it's 90F. Here in Brazil you don't see much Ugg action (at all), but when I lived in Boston, they were perfect for the going across campus. Now whether or not they are still "in," I think they have had their moment.

Ugg? You mean Ugh ! I never wore them even when they were in fashion. I don't believe in comfort though I think that vintage moon boots, providing the colour and pattern are right, can look cute.

You took the words out of my mouth, haha .. no offense ugg fans but they're right up there with ponchos. Luckily I found another boot that's really comfy and warm for Canadian winters that's much, much prettier :flower:

They're not a trend anymore, and, let's admit it, that's why most people wore them. If it's cold were you live, then wear them. But did I really need to tell you that?

I never understood how they got trendy in the first place - they seem so practical and comfortable but only if it's really cold. Winter coats for all times of the year would never become a trend.....
