Uggs

nice Uggs Isa! i've seen those at the store and they are lovely!

i live in my uggs and i just bought my second pair last week. i honestly don't know how i survived previous winter's without them! i know so many people think they're ugly but i don't think they're that bad. the cheap rip-offs do look crappy, i'll admit, but thats because they tend to lose their shape. i stick with the classic short ones, in tan and chocolate. i'd have them in every colour if i could afford it!

i just ordered classic mini in chocolate from uggboutique.com.I wonder if anyoned has ordered from that site before. I can't wait to get my pairs.^_^

i got the gray crochet classic cardy uggs for christmas today and cannot wait to wear them. it's so cold where i live and i'm glad i have a pair that's different than the classic uggs to change it up a bit!

although I think Uggs are a bit 'mainstream' I was okay with purchasing them! I have the chocolate brown shorts, and despite my short legs, they actually looked longer! But I think one of the reasons why I bought them was because they were warm (cold feet!!) so I was warmth>fashion for the first time in my life.

Okay sooo the other day I realized I had light pastel blue stains running along the side of one of my sand colored boots  and I don't know if this will come out. This likely had to do with the fact that I was wearing jeans over them and I got caught in a slushy snow storm (I cringe when I see people wear Uggs in wet weather but I wasn't expecting to be outdoors)

Has anyone had these stains before and had any luck getting them out? Any advice would be appreciated!! I love my Uggs :(

^^I have sheepskin care kit and it also contains cleaner for stains and dirt.

It's definitely worth buying. I don't have any experience with jeans stains though.

I haven't had any stains from jeans either,I sprayed mine with a protector when I first bought them and do it again every now and then, but I got mud stuck and embedded in one :o

Just a heads up for anyone ordering the Classic Crochet Cardy boots: I had to end up getting mine a size smaller than my regular classic Uggs. Keep that in mind when you plan on ordering!

Bringing this thread back nearly 6 months later :p

I know that it's summer blah de blah, but I was curious if anyone folds their uggs down? I have the classic short in sand and just wondered if they are folded down,do they leave a crease mark?

And is it wrong that I really want a pair in aqua?!

i used to think they were the absolute UGLIEST thing. actually, i still think they are lmao but they're also super warm and comfy, which is why i finally bought a pair this year. they're really amazing for winter.

^ Really? I love Uggs. They are incredibly comfortable and warm. I usually wear skinny jeans with my tall brown ones. I would never wear them with a skirt or shorts. I just don't understand that.. I mean if it is cold enough to wear uggs, why would you wear them with warm weather clothing ? lol

dumbfairy, I fold mine down and they look so adorable. They do leave a bit of a mark.. but mine go away after a while once I unfold them. It's very rare that I wear mine unfolded.

^I think they look adorable too. Plus I was thinking I wouldn't leave them folded down for long periods of time so it should be okay ^_^ Going to give it a go today!

For the longest time i thought they were the ugliest thing i have seen and would laugh/cringe whenevr i would see girls and women wearing them. I just thought they were jumping on the ban wagon. BUT i decided to just try them on because i wanted to see what all the hype was about and i fell in love. they are soo compy and warm. I know have 5 pairs

The is one thing about UGGs I don't understand:

Like all girls and women tell in winter, uggs are the perfect footwear for cold winter days because they are soo warm.

Now - to see how metallic uggs look like, I vitited their homepage and saw that there are also uggs for men, which I never saw on the street. So my question is the following: When becoming cold, women change their footware to brave the weather. Most men however prefer to rail about the cold, but sill wear the same shoes like in summer (and in summer the same men ay it's too warm).

Because I'm really often outside in winter, I think I'll try them the next "season".

Yeh I so dont get why girls wear uggs in winter... I adore my three pairs but they are far to hot to wear in this weather... It must be purely fashion... but shows a little narrow mindedness and lack of imagination... get some pumps or sandals on!

And on another point... will you not sweat alot in them... which aint good for the feet or the boots... so not neccessary in my book and must end up smelling not nice!

In terms on winter though... Love them you so cant get a nicer, warmer shoe for casual wear only though... so not for smart! And i've never wore them down but think I will next winter.. My hubby says girls with them down are kinda cute... even with sweats... but not sure i'll take the look that far... uggs and sweats... im thinking thats still wrong!

ahhh.. had tiny dirt marks on my uggs and just brushed them out with talcum powder, lol. Worked a charm!
