UK Bazaar used to sell me the fantasy of the seductive power-woman with rich tastes and dark secrets, but now I get the feeling it's more like a sophisticated housewife with arranged lists of impeccable things to do in life. Let's not have any of that dangerous glamour, it'll only disturb the children before bedtime.
Yes! I think after Lucy Yeoman's departure there's no sign of that Bazaar women returning.
Did you read Justine's first editor's letter inside the January issue? She seems intellectual and knowledgeable about fashion, so I don't have a doubt she's incapable of her position at Bazaar. I just want to see the life and soul of the Bazaar women injected back into the magazine. The January issue, as I look through it today, is full of white space and black text. First impressions are lasting impressions.
