Thanks so much for the review, Vogue28! Actually sounds like a great issue, certainly looking forward to Kirsty Hume. Could you please check whether she got the V&A cover? I just cannot see myself getting the newsstand version.

Rosie is a beautiful woman, but I´ve never been a massive fan of her modelling work. The Prada cover, however, is absolutely stunning.

Can´t see to see Jessica Chastain in the Icons editorial. Very random cast though. Lucky Blue and Willow are being described as icons? Please, Carine.

You're most welcome. Kirsty Hume is indeed on one of the five covers for this issue, however it doesn't state if Hume's is available at the V&A. In addition to Rosie's three covers and Kirsty's, Katy Perry is on a one too by Jean-Paul Goude. I assume it's also a preview to American Bazaar's September cover story (since Perry's rumored to be on that cover), as it's not the shot of Katy channeling Elizabeth Taylor. I'll scan the cover credits later on today!

01. Rosie Huntington-Whiteley as Diana Vreeland (Chanel jacket and tights; JW Anderson earrings and boots; Laura Mercier Paint Wash Liquid Lip Colour in Red Brick)

02. Jessica Chastain as Joan of Arc (Balenciaga dress, Alexander Wang socks and shoes, Fannie Schiavoni gloves)

03. Oprah Winfrey as Glinda the Good Witch (Ralph Lauren Collection dress, Walter Steiger shoes, Van Cleef & Arpels bracelet, Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Orchid)

04. Mariah Carey as Marie Antoinette (Tom Ford corset, Manolo Blahnik shoes, Le Vestiaire jacket, skirt, petticoats and stockings)

05. Dakota Johnson as Aphrodite (Neosport wetsuit, Dior boots, Laura Mercier foundation)

06. Lucky Blue as Liberace (Burberry Prorsum jacket and trousers, Roberto Cavalli shirt, Jacob & Co bracelet, Beladora ring)

07. Willow Smith as Kali (Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci corset, skirt and face jewels)

08. Chris Lee as Coco Chanel (Chanel dress, shoes and belt. Ghost of Coco wears vintage Chanel)

Disgusting, cheap ed. If everything was on location it could have worked, but all the black backgrounds, Photoshop and fakery, completely kill it. It's sad really, what have become of Mdmsl C.
I do love Katy's photo though.

The Icons editorial is probably the worst editorial I've seen this year, it's completely hideous. I feel so sorry for Jessica!

Does anyone have a pic of the supersize cover? They did that with Keira a few years ago, didn't they?

Carine's features for Bazaar feel so one-dimensional, and it's probably due to more than just the sheer amount of photoshopping or empty space in those images.

The formula seems to be about creating a half-hearted idea for a theme, using recognisable girls to carry the editorial, and then just sitting back on your past merits and letting the world see greatness, where there's now just the name "Carine Roitfeld" and no promise of any improvement in the future.

I really wish one of these editors would just flat out refuse to carry Carines garbage.

Why is Dakota Johnson's forehead huge in her photo?

They are clearly turning Rosie into their trademark (a la Kate Moss x Vogue UK). I don't mind.
