UK Vogue January 2011 : Keira Knightley by Mario Testino

^^thanks...but i cant find an exact season..looks like resort, though

I agree Jay, it’s a photoshoot you need to look at a few times before it grows on you.

Judging from the thumbnail, I was already preparing to blast the cover, but the full version is actually rather good. The modern take on Keira's '50s ish look is great and well executed, and the styling suits her well. The glossy, deep red lips are striking against her fair skin, and the polka dot dress isn't too overwhelming imo. If only her left arm wasn't so awkwardly positioned, this would be a great picture. An unusually dark, color-contrastive cover from UK Vogue, and therein a definite step forward for the magazine.

And yet the cover doesn't even do justice to the stunning inside ed. Arresting, leaves you wanting for more. With the risk of sounding pretentiously poetic, the close-up of Keira is almost haunting. Testino, I didn't know you had it in you.

The rest of the content looks incredibly boring, though. Why on earth get Mario Sorrenti to snap just a couple of unremarkable portraits of Sofia Coppola? I yawned so hard at her entire feature my jaw almost dislocated.

Lovely colors in More Cash Than Dash, though.

I finally got my issue today & it's lovely from beginning to end,
but I find it utterly sad that this wasn't even mentioned in the thread.

^^^That was the reason to buy issue for me when I saw it in store. Sorry I didn't noticed it hasn't posted :flower:
