I do not understand the decision of the wig. She's more than just a character. And she looks quite childish, and that's totally not her. But I'm looking forward to Emilia replacing the God awful three mugs of last month on the stands.
well she's not exactly an household name. since the cover comes exactly with the wordlwide launch of game of thrones, it makes sense from a marketing point of view to make occasional readers identify her instantly with the show
Yeah... I'm pretty well versed in pop culture but if you hadn't told me she was on Game of Thrones I'd have no idea who she was. With that being said I don't have any idea who she is aside for the fact she's on Game of Thrones. Why should I want to read about her?

I undestand the idea behind the wig but I think that actual fans would recognize her as a brunette or by her name alone. This might sell amongst casual fans of the show who are also interested in fashion but what´s the difference between this and say, Empire Magazine having a GoT cover?
