Yana, you're right...all are dark eyed/haired as Ukrainians "suppose" to be... most of them are blue eyed...(including me) bet that's probably becouse their bloods were mixed with Russian, polish and more bloods my fav ukrainian models have to be Daria, Snejana & Mariya Markina.

yes true uktainian should be something like blood and milk - dark hair, brows, blue/or brown eyes , sensual lips, amazing body with full chest

For a little while there, Snejana was the only one (if you discount Daria as Ukrainian, which many do) high profile Ukrainian model. Thankfully that's been changing.

Unfortunately Lera Sheremeta didn't really work out, after what seemed like a promising start. Masha Tyelna looks to have peaked as well. But Ukraine is doing just fine as far as representation goes. Alyona Osmanova has been doing steady work for a couple years now. Snejana, obviously. The new up and coming stars no doubt are Viktoria Sasonkina and Natalia Chabanenko. Vika with her VI cover and Natalia with opening Prada last season. Both are primed for big seasons on the catwalk this time around. Additionally, there's also Angelika Kocheva, who seems to be going under the radar but has been doing a good amount of high profile work. Then there are also girls like Paul Pavlovska and Vika Kuropyatnikova, on whom the jury is still out.

Viktoriya Sasonkina is my favorite Ukrainian model and she's my all time favorite model actually. There is not any model that I admire as much as her....
I also adore Masha Tyelna for her unique face, her charming expressions and her talented editorial work where she's impressed me with the ability to work in many different sides the strong look she has...
For the new generation I'm watching for the subtle beauties Evelina Mambetova and Katty Ukhanova, and I hope Paul Pavlovska is going to find her place, she's woked with the talented Chadwick Tyler and Eric Guillemin, the result was wonderful, and already caught the attention of Steven Meisel.

I was just reading through the thread and was surprised to see one of my new favorite models Tatyana Usova listed as a Ukrainian! I always thought she was from Siberia!

And I know that the Daria thing is old, but I read on Lancome.com a while ago that she was 1/2 Pole and 1/2 Ukrianina but born in Poland.

Another Ukrainian model I like is Alek Alexeyeva. I didn't seem to see her mentioned.

Anybody knows what's going on with my Ukrainian girls in Paris? Both Alyona and Alla Kostromitcheva did fine, but they were the only two. Snejana only did one show. And Viktoriya and Nataliya Chabanenko did none. That's not even counting the other girls who should be doing something but arent like Vika K, Paul, Masha, Margaryta, etc.
