The newsstand cover is decent (she kind of looks like Karlie Kloss?) and the editorial is nice. I can't get over, though, how bad the subscriber cover is. Nicole does things to her face and can look often look weird, but THEY did something to her face here.


(You need to reexamine things when you have one of the most model-esque actresses and you manage to put out one of the worst covers!)

The kind of editorial that Nicole stars in is usually destined for models and you can see why. Indeed, not her fault though.

Nicole's editorial is the worst I've seen from her, and it's not her fault. Just look at that second shot.

It looks like they photoshopped the girl into that New York editorial. I mean I know New Yorkers are known for their pedestrian indifference, but not a single person bothered to look at the shoot in action?

The newsstand cover and editorial of US Elle is really lovely, imo. She's such a natural poseur and the camera loves her. Always has. She has a grace and fluidity and relaxation that just makes her photos easy to be drawn into. The photoshopping has destroyed the subscribers cover - not her fault whatsoever.

As always, Nicole Kidman proves to be a fascinating subject for a cover story. She gives such thoughtful, insightful responses in interviews. I always look forward to reading what she has to say about art and life. She is, truly, an Artist.

Since the divorce with Tom, she's been absolutely resolute in her refusal to discuss the two children they had together. People can speculate (and have, endlessly) as to why that might be. I suspect that one of the contracts of the divorce stipulated that she not mention them publicly. A non-disclosure clause or something to that effect. To the best of my knowledge, neither Connor nor Isabella have discussed Nicole publicly either. It really paints a public picture that she's never been involved in their lives, but whether or not that's true - none of us really knows.

I confess to being absolutely baffled by the cover headline. "Nicole Kidman ... is having sex" Um ... huh?!? How on earth is this remotely relevant to anything whatsoever? What a ludicrous thing to write on a cover. Not to mention the fact that there is precisely ZERO discussion of sex throughout the entire story. So ... yeah .... totally giving me a wtf moment with that. I'm sure Nicole is horrified.

Lovely interview with Nicole. I like that she's not constantly referencing life with Tom in her interviews. It's purely abouther and her life as it should be. That chapter is closed, nothing she could say now will be of any consequence. Having said that, I still think Tom served her with a Sophie's choice, and circumstances looked unfavourable. I'd have gone the same route if I was in her shoes.

This is so embarrassing, for Nicole but mostly for Elle! It's a horrible title enough even if there was discussion of sex... Did Elle hire someone from Allure?
