^agree. the shoot itself is nothing special..but the text overload is just killing the whole cover..

White dress and white background just don't work! Other than that and the cluttered text it is nice to see Juliana Margulies on the cover of Bazaar. Hope the content is better than the December issue, editorial wise.

Awful start to the year. This magazine is in a desperate need of a revamp.

Also no "Fabulous at any age"?

Haha the reign of horror continues! I mean at least its a talented beautiful woman who has never been on the cover before, but shame Bazaar is sooo clueless!

Agree, 100%!
Oh! it appears they're changing it up. Looks like it's " Beauty for Every Age"

Awww, such a major disappointment. Julianna is not a star that inundates us with covers every month; it'd have been nice to see them do her justice with a beautiful cover.

Julianna Margulies or Famke Janssen? I don't see anything remotely bad about this but there's certainly room for improvement, as usual with US Bazaar.

I will never understand how a consistently relevant publication like W warranted a top to bottom update, yet the increasingly unfashionable Bazaar is allowed to stagger onward towards mediocrity at an alarming pace. I know there is the constant whining about the unrepentantly ugly covers, but the content has been going downhill steadily for months. I can't recall the last Bazaar editorial that made me go "whoa" though perhaps this is because I collapse all their editorials into one given that they all have the same name.

Agreed 100%

I like the risque in the ed, cover is very bland and unrelated

i truly don't understand it either...
in the last year or so, w, us vogue, and vogue paris have undergone some type of updating, either with a full redesign or changing of fonts/typography...
i can't remember the last time bazaar has been updated, and in terms of overall design, it's falling behind...

yet again, as with christina hendricks and katy perry, bazaar has taken a gorgeous woman who in normal circumstances would be seen as an interesting cover choice and rendered her dumbstruck...
i can only hope the subscribers cover is better, that is if julianna even gets the subscribers cover...

Of course it's bland, it's US Bazaar!

Who is she and why does she have such a big mouth? I'm completely more into the ed!

She was in ER when George Clooney was also in it and she's now in another series whose name I can't quite remember.
