I´d love to see the one in the white bikini or the one in the black Valentino as a cover.

It's a cover that had potential. I love the background even though it's not the usual white which I really love. The makeup and hair are on point. I really like it and it's appropriate for the beach theme. Although one eye is bigger than the other.

Is it just me or there's something really weird going on in her breast area? The dress seems to be retouched to filth. Did they edit out the dress (right side breast area) to show more of her cleavage? There's something about that dress that seems like it was edited on top of her.

Another issue that I have here is with the pose. It's a summer cover and the setting is on the beach and yet they made her do a power pose. Her pose is to frigid for the mood of the cover.

*LOL at Carine Roitfeld being at the bottom part of the cover and having the smallest font size amongst all headlines.

NJR, Thompson and Carter Smith all seem to be straddling the line between Hearst and Conde as their work appears in HB, Elle AND Allure/W. I think that most snappers are pretty free to work where they like now (look at how many top names Interview, V and Porter snag)...the only ones who appear to be contractually bound to CN are Testino, Sims and Leibovitz (perhaps Meisel as well, but he virtually never works outside of VI.)

Anywho, this is a pretty huge deal for Anna. Bailey orchestrated car crashes aside, it's reassuring to see US HB select so many models for their covers in the last year or so (and the occasional 'so tragic it's amazing' fashion edit ala faceless basejumping ). She looks dazed in the cover shot but the edit has enough va va voom to make up for it. NJR is really doing great stuff ATM, guess he's stopped trying to mimic Annie which helps!

Not an amazing cover and the texts are bothering me but I applaud them to put a model whose not Lara, Kate or Daria on the cover of HB US. But again, the cover is so much better than their usual covers.

Eww.

It's a pretty conventional cover by most standards. But the fact that they have a model on it is what makes it great. Anna looks beautiful, and it's a pretty big get for her.

My problem with Bazaar's model covers is the same as with Vogue's Natalia cover a few months ago. Even though they may have a gorgeous model out front it's still business as usual. With that being said, there's few if any celebs who can outshine Anna in the looks department. Another thing that bothers me is all the colors that don't really seam to go together. The gold with the blue with black and a splash of pink? and not one but two kardashians?


The edit is quite nice though. The subscribers cover just may be a homerun. They really should have gone with the bikini pic with a hat on.

The only good thing is Anna on the cover, at least they didn't put Kendall or Kim on the cover.
