US Harper's Bazaar November 2016 : Gwyneth Paltrow by Alexi Lubomirski

The mask looks very fake almost like they've put it there with photoshop: copy and paste, also her eyes are a bit smallish. Overall it gives me a Christmas vibe. I like the cleanness of the cover+ed.

I´m done with Bazaar and its ridiculous covers & editorials :judge:

This made me cringe. The mask makes it look so cheap. I guess, it's perfect for halloween issue.

Even though the newsstand cover doesn't blow me away, I admire the fact US Harper's Bazaar went for the less-obvious shot and opted for the one where Paltrow's identity is almost concealed. I mean you obviously know it's her but she's obscured and I think that's quite a daring move on Bazaar's half.

Gwyneth's usual fine and limp hair looks absolutely gorgeous here and major kudos to the stylist!

the black smiling shot would have been a perfect cver, sh photographs well tho

The editorial is RIDICULOUS! What is the story in these photos? Bathing suits and blazers is a look? She is here to promote that insufferable goop yet only 1 dress in the whole edit is from the line (she wears it with the shopping cart). AND the photoshop throughout is nauseating, namely in the shot with the LV bag. Why airbrush the supermarket ceiling? The shadows are all off. I was looking at the photos while sitting with a friend who they oversaw and started laughing at how outrageous she looks. Mess.

Who know Gwyneth loved Honey-Nut Chex cereal with such.... wild abandon

It's superior to most of what HB US produces, Gwyneth looks gorgeous and the editorial is humorous, which I appreciate.

If they photoshopped her slightly more she would have been Kate Hudson... weird... and not high-fashion at all.

Scrolling down through the top two editorials, I thought I was in the thread of a different magazine... until I came to the Lagerfeld one.

What he did with Gigi didn't work last issue and it doesn't work here either. Nothing is being shown to its best advantage - not the backdrop, not the model - and because everything looks so amateurish, it takes away from the clothing, it looks like cheap tat made out of old curtains and recycled fur trim.

The cover is horribly fake. Her face is so airbrushed it looks like a cartoon.

I always liked her look, so i hope someone was just being "creative" with the photoshop in the ed, if not she did something really stupid with her face.

Very impressed with the upgrading of the photographer and model casting. It makes a huge difference. I'm a big fan of Ben Hasset's work, and Alécia stuns through Victor's lens. The latter is much better than their 'girl on the street' type which we've been seeing for months.

How could they have two Lagerfeld edits back to back, with the same model? Clueless! And her posing is awful here.

So Karl jumps on the Gigi bandwagon when everyone's already had her. He's so out of touch

Surprised to see there's no editorial shot in a desert. I love them though.
