Okay, well, if it's for the Age Issue, then she's not a bad choice. She actually looks nice. She is always photographed well for Vogue.

YAY I am so happy, I love her and the photoshoots she does with Vogue are always so stunning

Same angle and side as previous.

Turn to side: Check!
Tilted head: Check!
Hand on Hip: Check!
Pink text: Check!

^ My exact thought. Same angle. They could have done something different with the pose.

they should have just moved the
'SARAH
JESSICA
PARKER'

to the position of the
'GREAT
AMERICAN
WOMEN' and it would have been basically the same issue.

Looks great, maybe one of the best SJP covers. I wasn't expecting much since I knew she was going to be on the cover but it looks half decent.

Alright, I don't dislike her but it's ridiculous that they keep putting her on covers so much, what else can she talk about???, besides her interviews are always so vapid it's embarrassing. At least it's not the September issue but still, Sex & The City happened, give it a rest, and she does not dress that good, and she's not the only person above 40 that cares about fashion.. there are so many beautiful women in their 40s, 50s, 60s that are actually worth reading and with truly and genuine individual style, that are not dressed like Queen Elizabeth one season, in Prada stripes the other season, as a 50s housewife the next one, why not celebrate that?. Gah. /morningrant /coffee-less.

Thank you, tarsha!

I love her but why is she on the cover?:unsure:

And here I thought no one payed attention to my tweets.

Same angle, but it's alright. Nothing extraordinary.

This is actually quite funny, I think. Only Sex and the City fans would get this, but in the first movie, Carrie was in the Age Issue for Vogue (the wedding gowns editorial/interview)..and here Sarah Jessica Parker is on the cover for it

a Madonna by Steven Klein cover would've been phenomenal. i'm sure her interview will be platitudes upon platitudes upon platitudes about age, embracing your age, feeling comfortable with your wrinkles... puhleazzzeeee. at least it's another $10.00 saved! :woot:

though i can only see a peek of it; i love what im seeing. can't wait to get this issue; i love sarah jessica parker.

 I was so hoping that rumour wasn't true, but it's even uglier than I expected. She's, perhaps, one of the most obnoxious female celebrities around.

The cover isn't amazing but I'm OK about that. When a cover of a magazine is extraordinary I feel great about it, when it is just blah, I just can't care less. What I am waiting for is the content and US Vogue hasn't disappointed me in the least these past months.

She has a film coming out, 'How Does She Do It?' I think it's called, and by all accounts she's pretty good in it. I imagine that's the main reason she's landed a cover. I actually have always liked her Vogue shoots, they're usually quite beautiful and this one looks like it could be nicely styled too.

Guesses.......Whats she wearing?

White Jacket, with breast pockets and black lapels and cuff strips.

any ideas?

I origionally thought this,

BUT isnt August normally first look fall....so maybe this is a little too late?

I love Sarah but they at least should have used new pose, different from May 2010 cover.
But from what I see she looks good on the cover, I hope eds are as great in this issues as a whole year so far.
