The only solid shot is the “Madonna and child” one. The rest are so random and the cover select is so glamour-wedding-shot-at-the-local-mall aesthetic. There’s such a defeated, depressing, abandoned air about it all. Had to double check if this was really shot by Norman...

I’m not a fan of Nicki but this cover is her best to date, I love it. Not a fan of the editorial but the shots with the red turtle neck and blazer are stunning.

If she deserves the cover or not, come on! We’ve seen another celebrities and models that their covers are questionable too… like last year.

Serving like a young Angela Basset. Beautiful, classy and unexpected. Of course Anna was going to put a singer during the strike months, but didn't knew she was about to put her on the cover. One of US Vogue greats.

Yeah, Norman doesn't usually miss, so this was a disappointing.

A real beautiful and glamorous cover to round out 2023 for American Vogue. Could genuinely take or leave Nicki Minaj but I am 100% here for the surprise of seeing Minaj as Vogue's cover star, and it's an added bonus that the outcome is so easy on the eye. I love the warmth, the colouring, the sense of glamour... it's all working.

One may choose to believe or not believe he was a predator, but it’s worth noting he was not found guilty/convicted and all of the models agreed to settle out of court without any admission of guilt from Bruce.

The editorial is equally as gorgeous! Really glad they stepped up for Nicki Minaj’s cover. Let’s be honest here, they could’ve literally gave her a chair and asked her to pose with it while wearing a shirt and jeans #relatable. Heck, no, why use chairs if they can make people sit on the floor in a thousand dollar dress. But nope, they stepped up here. I’m glad!

IIRC Her husband is Statutory r*pist. I think he slept with a 15 year old when he was 18. This is really common in NYC and lots of NYers get caught up in that. So I think NY people see it differently.*
