US Vogue January 2010 : Rachel McAdams by Mario Testino

Rachel looks fabulous and all of the photos of her are gorgeous! She's so photogenic. I hope that US Vogue makes January 2010 their style standard for the upcoming year.....new cover faces, please!!:D

add met to the list of people who don't see anything special about this ed. or maybe it's Rachel itself? i never got her appeal and the Notebook was so boring IMO

I sure hope not! This issue is all around morbidly boring, predictably safe and not worth the while (or the money, for that matter). Apparently, US Vogue have fallen into such a deep sleep in their boredom and lack of inspiration that they don't realize it's being reflected in their recent, regrettably lackluster issues. How about doing something outside the norm, for a change? Just one ed. Just one cover. I dare you, Anna.

(How about not employing Mario Testino for a cover shoot? Or, in fact, any shoot. :ninja:)

Agree! Bring STEVEN's reign in US VOGUE back!

Okay, let's get real. Vogue either does boring but classy or boring and butt ugly. I don't think Vogue is getting worse. It was always boring XD!

It looks like something from Teen Vogue

It's nice to see a more creative, quirky fashion editorial of an actress for once, the close-up in the Chanel hat is really beautiful. She used to go to the same school that my sister goes to now

I don't really like Sasha's ed, to be perfectly honest, and although I have no idea of who Carey Mulligan is, I think she looks great in her editorial. It's a really stunning ed! Not your typical actress editorial.

I thought the same thing, it's not as boring as the usual "make me pretty" actress shoot.

I think this issue is small but has a few top notch edits, nothing groundbreaking but I quite liked a few of the editorials especially the shots of Carey, she is such a cutie pie.

To give everyone a taste of the Sasha edit, consider these previews since they were scanned so quickly  I think the story itself is quite amusing in some pictures. I do wish that the energy and fun level carried over to all the shots but I still like that Vogue US is featuring these musicians, some of whom I really enjoy. It was a shock to see them in here quite frankly!

Wow, thank you! I actually quite like these!

On behalf of some MGMT fans I have to ask if there's only one page with them and can you see the other guy better in the actual magazine?

ahhhhhh LOVE this with the horrors (apart from faris and sasha)

Thank you so much, Luxx, for scanning Sasha's editorial. Seeing the editorial as a whole, I actually find it quite interesting and Sasha is stunning in all the pics. A very good editorial, which I wouldn't have judged so, only from the preview pics I had seen a couple of hours ago.
