Cara looks so weird in the last shot.I can merely recognize her here

Am a bit late, but seriously, this cover for Vogue US ? I like her, but there is nothing interesting in that picture. Actually, the whole issue isn't convincing to me. Of course Karlie always does a good job, and it's cool to see Meisel with brazilian top models, but well ... And I really don't get the edit with Cara.

Well, it's nice to see Caroline out of a studio without some kind of graphic back drop at least.

you know what! I'm not gonna moan to see a cover actually shot outdoor for the frist time this year, she looks great and i can really feel the freash summer breeze here...

I love the cinematic feeling from Roman Holiday. Very beautiful and the last bw shot of Caroline is just everything

That last shot of Cara is very strange, it's like her face wasn't clear in the shot and someone's tried to rebuild it in post-production or something, very strange. Also, is it just me or are both editorials rather on the short side?

Yeah the whole thing is overtouched so much that it loses the point of using a real bear, they could have just photoshopped one in and nobody would know the difference. I would have rather seen some natural looking pictures.

All of the editorial themes are so trite, "Beauty and the Beast", "Roman Holiday"... that's the best you can do? Geeze, c'mon!

The only worthy piece is Meisel's one lowly shot. I've never been a massive Raquel fan, until now, when I realize how much we miss her presence in magazines, she always brought the magic to her editorials. Beautiful shot of them all.

Raquel nailed it in Team Brazil! Great little story in Roman Holiday and Caroline looks great! The rest of the issue is so so. Karlie's edit is nondescript and could have been left out. And Beauty and the Beast is interesting, but doesn't seem to fit in this issue.

is this Testino´s lame attempt to be "edgy" a la Steven Klein?

loooooooool true! That comment made my day  and I have to add that this story shot by Peter Lindbergh looks weird, I would have never guessed he was the one who shot this, it looks very strange from his style of photography.

Overall it looks like a VERY VERY weak issue from cover to editorials. One picture by Meisel doesn't made a strong US Vogue issue to buy y'all lol! Sorry Anna, another issue I'll pass on.

It is great injustice that there is only one shot, as amazing as it is, in Meisel's "story." All the girls look fantastic, but Raquel ATE IT UP!
Karlie's and Caroline's stories were run of the mill Vogue fillers. Cara's was just weird. I am still finding it hard to believe that is her in the last shot.

Hold up, Caroline T, a Meisel muse, is not part of Team Brazil? Surprising. Raquel is just impeccable; the stare, pose and the strength she brings to the cadre is eye catching. The shot reminds me of an old Versace campaign.

The setting of Roman Holiday is beautiful, but any other model would make this a million times better. She's no match for Garrel.

Nice issue. That shot by Meisel is epic, even though I only like Raquel (and she kills it).
Trentini's and Karlie's eds are nothing special but nice, and so is Pennetta's (regardless of that cast...).

Cara's ed though... :ninja:

I adore Carol's ed. So glad they didn't do the typical studio jumping shoot! Lindbergh was the perfect choice for that type of story. Very evocative and cinematic.

Testino's story feels quite awkward and pretentious.

i actually like the fact that Charlize is giving some major face its the angle and the cropping thats not working for me. The Brazillians are scorching hot though Isabelli looks almost off

Team Brazil is the saving grace of this issue. Such an epic shot with the four of them looking gorgeous as hell. Especially Adrianna and Isabeli. May this be the start of Meisel shooting again for US Vogue cause he is badly missed.

The I&V and Linbergh editorials aren't that bad either. Although the former reminds me heavily of the recent collaboration of Gisele and I&V for Vogue Paris. When was it again? November 2013?
