I get that this is promo for her role as Harley Quinn, but damn...fried hair and running mascara on the cover of US Vogue?! I feel like this is a [bad] historic first. Kind of like putting the Vice President in Converse in front of bed sheets on the cover. This is Vogue, Anna, let's lift it please!

no, it's great, it's better than a lot of what we have had -- c'mon -- there's a bit of theme, a bit of fashion

my only note would be they could have given her face/hair a little more glamour, like, there is a way to make that sort of clown 1920s sad thing a bit lifted, a la old galiano pat mcgrath shows-- and they could have done a slight more retouch, it looks a little too raw there, in the first cover her undereye skin is looking like a emory board, which is beautiful, but not paired with costume makeup

Good to see the Margiela piece without the makeup and that it remains beautiful.

Oh this is fantastic! Feels like a proper fashion shoot. US Vogue have been so hit and miss with Gaga over the years, but this is perfection.

Love the full body cover shot and I hope that’s the newsstand cover. I like the other cover shot but for an inside image, the editorial is just fantastic - can’t wait to get it.
