Has anyone ever shopped on or heard about this website?

I read about it in Lucky Magazine a while back when they mentioned it briefly and they've got some nice fair trade stuff like hand dyed and handloom woven ikat print silk scarves and some nice brooches, hair clips etc..

I ordered some stuff (about $200 worth if I remember correctly) to give out as Christmas gifts and the package shipped out (from Uzbekistan) on November 29th... I still haven't received it

I was told it would take 10-14 business days but the USPS can't find the tracking number in their system... I haven't received anything from Customs either...

I contacted the site and they got back to me today telling me to give it a few more days...
we'll see what happens i guess...

They have beautiful stuff, Chrissy! I love the ethnic scarves etc from that region.

yeah!
i thought they were so different from a lot of what we see in the US and i liked that everything is fair trade on the site..

i went on the usps website and tracked the package again and saw that they left a delivery notice friday afternoon at my work (I didn't have to go in friday because of the snow here) so I'll probably be able to pick up my package from the post office on Monday!

So.. looks like I just needed to be a bit more patient

I'll take some actual photos when I get the stuff and report back on the quality...

I have bought from them a few times. From the store and eBay.

It looks like they raised their prices on scarves, and that hurts because now I found a few that I can't buy *cries*

They are really awesome to deal with, and their scarves felt nicer than most Uzbek ikats I found on eBay last year.
I haven't bought from them in a while though.

ChrissyM, that doesn't sound good :/ I never had an issue. They always communicated really well. One time I ordered while they moved from the US to overseas, and they kept me updated with actual forwarded updates from their own moving service that was delaying the process. That time it took a while to recieve my order (months) but they made me aware before committing to the order.
ETA: oh, duh... I didn't quite see that you had a notice left

^^yeah i think any issue i had was more with the postal service and not with them...

but everything is fine now that i've received the items...
i'm going to be uploading a couple photos in the next few days of the scarf and pin that i kept for myself

my cousin text messaged me the other day telling me she had been wearing her pin a lot and had gotten TONS of compliments..
