V #55 September/October 2008 : 14 Model Covers by Inez & Vinoodh

I'm so excited about all the 14 covers, they all look great!

From what I know, the "I Called Her Mahogany" ed will include Tyra Banks (Blonde wig included), and Sessilee Lopez, which was photographed by Sebastian Faena. I caught a quick glimpse of the shoot on her talk show yesterday! Tyra really seems to be making the rounds at some of the major fashion mags. First it was Vogue Italia with Steven Meisel, then the cover of Harper's Bazaar, and now a V shoot! I quite like it!

i absolutely didn't recognize her until i saw your post ... :blink:
i like the fact all the models i've grown up with are back ....
but i just wonder WHY ??? :shock::ninja:
Dewi, Colette, now Sunniva ...
who's next ?! I would love Caroline Rebeiro (?) and maybe Delfine and Esther de Jong(?) ... i loved her !
Berlinrocks caroline ribeiro was in Halston last day, and another brand i can´t remenber.

this issue is out today, yes? :woot:

I kind of always liked Sunniva... she was not particularly sexy or something but there's something interesting about her... I know that after she left modeling she was back in her chemical laboratorium somwhere in Finland I guess.... so I think she is kind of has very interesting background... Caroline Ribeiro would be interesting... Esther de Jong would be fantastic she was quite interesting looking as well.... I think all these models are back bcos the look of more matured woman is more appreciated these days... fair enough... majority of Fashion customers are matured women who want to see someone the can associate themselve with....that is why probably we have all this 90s supermodel comeback as well.... I dont remember having so much of Christy, Naomi, Claudia, Stephanie, Eva or Helena... they are like everywhere. Which is good bcos fashion is more diversified and there's is a place for almost everyone... and even 14 different covers is an attempt to make more choices available for the persons with different taste...

I just LOVE the cover with Małgosia. Natasha and Anja are also amazing.

Thanks for the info...

Tyra can get incredibly annoying but there is no denying that she can model and take great pictures.

In this issue have Testino ed?

I'm happy Eniko has a cover. From the preview I prefer her editorial picture, I think she's better in motion...
I adore Anna's cover the most. She looks unbreakable
And Natasha Poly's, she looks gorgeous
:heart:
