What is it with magazines this month transforming the most beautiful women in the world into whacked-out Vegas ******-look-a-likes!?! First Kate's monstruous make-over for VR and now this utterly FRIGHTFUL James St. James gone disastrously wrong depiction of Linda! It must be the Lady Gaga effect! Speaking of Miss(ter) Gaga... Honey, PLEASE lay off of the bronzer! Yes, you would have been a sure hit in Vogue circa 1967... but it's 2009!

ambers cover looks cool, old-school V, i like it. but i guess i'd grab the lady gaga cover, its so bad-a** eye popping, i love it even though i dont love herself

I love Amber's. I am going to get hers. Lady Gaga is atrocious, her skin looks like an Oompa Loompa and she looks about 40 years old.

Kate's is cute, on the side of a road out in the countryside, but I just prefer Amber's. Linda's isnt as freakish as Gaga's but it comes close.

Such an odd group of cover choices but I'll be getting Amber's, she looks great.

Amber's is the only one that looks decent, all other look bad. Linda looks like an alien, Kate looks tired and, like someone already said, depressed, Gaga looks too tanned.

It's interesting how Kate keeps looking bad in all of her recent covers.
