don't know why I expected anything classy

It kind of ties in with her character in that movie The Paperboy though. So, I don't think keeping it "classy" was the point.

I was not expecting this when I opened the thread... I love Nicole, but this is really bad.
And the headlines on the sides are not helping... "Keeping up with the Kardashians", "Lady Gaga flashes"... (and I stopped reading).

I think I like it. It's just the hair that messes it up a bit though.

a night in Bangkok with Saskia De Brauw
Kati Nescher adventures in Istambul

i assume it`s like report-photos, not a true photosessions, however would be cool if i`m wrong, coz Laetitia is mentioned on the cover too while she` s having an ed, so...

and by the way this is the first time when Mario Testino collaborates with stylist Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele. (she styled the cover)
i can`t remember them worked together before, correct me if i`m wrong

The headlines leave me cold at best or even sometimes would make me run away as fast as my poor legs can carry me...

I'm not a fan of Laetitia's work at all but for those who expect something amazing on this side, I'm afraid to read "Choupette" just next to her name so I think it has good ingredients to be quite lame.

I'm looking at this photoshop cr*p and I'm thinking yeah right.

Of course it'll be lame, it's shot by Karl.

Unexpected. She looks interesting.

Well huge kudos for being game to do this, she does look like her role from The Paperboy, even the wig! I certainly wouldn't expect Kidman to be willing to go this route for the magazine cover, but if the face was slightly better this would have been great.

Laetitia's ed with Choupette was posted in her thread a week ago. Here it is:

^Thanks for posting. As expected... Well, provided I'm not fond of Laetitia's work at all, I would have had troubles to like it anyway but when I strictly stick to the composition of pictures, the ideas behind etc. there is nothing I find interesting, inventive or even eye-appealing.

All in all, it made me think of the magazines I used to love and love to buy a few years ago. Most of them have become caricatures of themselves and I'm a bit sad of this. V Magazine's evolution is probably the most symptomatic but I've noticed it with 10 Magazine as well. I was first unsure about Love then warmed up but it turned out to be quickly a little repetitive for a publication released only twice a year. Then we had Dossier who followed the same route and 032c isn't as spicy and tasty as it used to. Dazed and i-D have interesting editorials quite often but haven't seen any complete issue that wows me lately.

I used to read V almost page by page and I say read not just look at the photographs. Now the topics and themes have flown away quite far from anything I like.

The whole cover is unexpected, I expected something more conservative for her, but the deep-fired blonde=brunette hair is all kinds of awful. Hopefully, the issue has some decent editorials.
